That type of citizen gave up their rights. Especially if he was a convicted felon to begin with.

No. Again you choose to dismiss our Constitutional right to due process....but only for 'some citizens.' Hmmm.

Not acting normal is not justification for physical endangerment and death.

And cops are only increasing the amount of fear anyone stopped might have, the more of these abuses that come to light.

And who decides "that type of citizen"? You? God help us.

Just a reminder, felons don't have to give up their rights just because they broke, or are in the process of breaking our laws.

Again, the guy sounds like an a-hole, but I'm not defending him because I like him, I'm defending him because the lines you are drawing are so arbitrary and subjective they can easily be abused.

Personally, I'd like to see the shooting from another perspective, perhaps from the mini-cam of one of the other police officers on the scene. From the available footage in the OP, it's difficult to determine conclusively if the officer who shot the man was the same officer who picked the gun up off the ground. But if it was the same police officer, it's difficult for me to believe he didn't know he had his gun in his hand and not his tazer. But again, the video footage doesn't show which of the officers on the scene fired the shot. All we know is whomever did it quickly realized their mistake.
No I'm saying that a taser can kill a guy too. If they had enough force to control him they shouldn't be using either one.

What the guy being arrested needed to do was argue that he had ancestral rights to do drugs. Just like Clive Bundy had an ancestral rights to avoid taxes and use land that did not belong to him. Maybe, just maybe, CRUE CAB would defend him.

Dumbass criminal resisting police, what's the problem?
Be sure to work hard and get lots of overtime. People on welfare want more steaks and free upgrades to smart phones with unlimited data packages.

Not arbitrary at all. Actually pretty specific.
