Boston cop shot in the face

Decorated Boston police officer shot in the face - CNN.com

This time it is hard to blame officers for being brutal. Maybe it is time to accept there is a reason behind police brutality except for deprived and immoral nature of American policemen (according to liberals). How many cases could have ended like this if officer didn't follow the instruction and shoot the suspect? I bet potential criminals' lives are less valuable than lives of law-abiding cops. Not all of them are good but attacking American police in general is a sign of anti-governmental propaganda.

It's tragic that a Boston police officer who was either a hero or had acted heroically (I don't know anything else about him) was shot. That said, I don't know how one tragedy gives police officers the green light to murder potentially innocent suspects, which is exactly what you said. You're also judging the value of lives, which is a really despicable thing to do. If you don't know somebody, maybe it would be in your best interest to hold off on hoping they are murdered until you're quite certain that they're an imminent, lethal threat to those around them. Brutality is and has always been unacceptable, whether it is police brutality or the brutality of criminals. I hope that you're just a little too emotional right now to speak rationally.

Because "Afro-Americans" are disproportionately poor.

Chicken and egg.

They're also disproportionately uneducated, disproportionately unemployed, disproportionately from broken homes, and disproportionately brainwashed into thinking that white people just sit around and invent ways to keep them down.

And it's not just that way in the U.S.

I'm tired of white Americans being blamed for every deep-seeded issue within the black community, when there is every opportunity to change that course. That is, if you're not afraid of being cast aside as an "Uncle Tom" or "sellout" by your friends and family.

Look no further than this blatant "Hands up!" lie that continues to be spewed. Until this nonsense is changed, nothing will change. Ever.

Baby...!?!...Really? I'm sure you're aware I'm a guy. I made that perfectly clear in my first post to this (and other) threads. (Not to mention the male symbol there to the left.) You might swing that way, but I don't. Please refrain from using terms of endearment when addressing me, sir.

...my true colors are on full display.

Yes, they are!

I don't have much love for douchebags. The Hands Up Boston group are a collection of douchebags.

Well, at least this time you clarified who one sort of douchebags you were referring to are. That's a start.

That has nothing to do with their race, but you desperately want to make it so.

Says the guy whose first post to this thread was...

Nope...not hard at all to blame the officer. Hands Up Boston did just that. In fact...they coordinated protests and held planning meetings to blame the cops for killing the black man. Of course...those planning meetings were 'colored people only'.

Now, far be it for me to tell people what to post, but had you left off that portion of your post in RED, I wouldn't have said anything about it as far as racist under tones are concerned.

They are no different than the other douchebags that use tragedies to further their causes...

You still haven't identified who these other "douchebags" are (let alone "folk"), but I'm going to assume you mean ANYONE or ANY GROUP who uses a tragic event to further their personal or political cause. If you agree, just say so. (In any case, I would agree with you here and have!)

...and THAT has nothing to do with race...

If you mean to include all comers into the "Douchebag Club", then we agree. But if you're masking an exclusive reference to a specific racial demographics...:naughty

And you STILL want it desperately to be so.

Nope. I just won't you to be honest about who and what you mean. That's it.

Its rather comical you cant/wont see who the 'mindless douchebags' are since I have been quite clear about them from the very beginning. And you are jumping in...defending 'your own'.

No, I haven't sidestepped who was in the wrong, particularly where this cop shooting is concerned. I stated such right from the beginning.

As to the OP itself, the victim in this case deserved to get shot. The officer(s) were 1000% justified in using lethal force. No doubt about it!

As for Hands Up Boston, I hadn't even heard of them until reading your post about them. So, how can I support them when I know nothing about them?

In any case, no, you haven't been clear from the start who the "douchebags" are. I had to coach it out of you and even then it took 3-4 pages before you ever admitted it! But I'll give you an "A" for effort. At least you clarified your point on something.

You got twisted at 'baby'? How homophobic of you! :lamo

We're done...

FM

You blame the symptom not the cause and are in denial

Your criminals had to have gotten their guns from those very same 'law abiding citizens' in the first place.

:lamo

Yeah...all those guns running around by themselves...

:lamo

A black career thug shoots white police officer! Just a picture of officer not of criminal, the media not reporting this like they do other incidents, it doesn't fit their agenda.

You got twisted at 'baby'?

I got "twisted" at your attempt to get too unduly familiar with me. So, I would appreciate it if you're simply refrain from using any such terms of endearment when addressing me and I'll respect your wishes as well.

But you're right. We're done here. But for the record, I have gay friends, have worked side-by-side with gays and lesbians, and have even served with gay servicemen. I'm a long way from being homophobic.

More denial ?

So where do you think they got them then ?
Hmmmmmmm...same place they get their banned heroin? Or maybe they get their banned cocaine? Or it could be the same place they get their banned ecstasy or marijuana. Wait...wait...maybe it was the same place 30 million people managed to slip through the cracks. Gish...you just never know. Those bans work SO dang well...

The denial continues

All the guns your criminals use were doubtless once legally owned by someone. I don't doubt that goes for the gun this Boston policeman was shot with too. The problem is the easy access to guns and the subsequent lack of monitoring of them in your society. Its a problem unique to the US in the developed world.

Of COURSE you 'dont doubt'. Oh...its a given that therer is an epidemic of banned substances that are imported here...but...why let facts get in the way of your rant and rhetoric?

Criminals...not tools. Why is it that people like you NEVER...even now...refuse to focus on the criminals?

The way you talk you would think the US was the only place with criminals and drugs. Its your criminal fraternities easy access to guns thats your lethal problem and one that fairly specific to your country. The odds are the Boston cop in the OP would be alive today were this not so. Why is it that people like you will be forever in denial ?

Prohibition did not work. Drug bans do not work. Gun laws do not work. Hell...illegal immigration laws do not work. The reason they do not work is there is lax enforcement and no penalty.

Even in England...guns are still being imported. Shocking...right?

120 million gun owners. Law abiding citizens. The head of the FBI came and recently said it best. We arent the problem. Never have been. Guns arent the problem. Never have been. Criminals are the problem. Always have been. Always will be.

I so love the way the gun lovers have managed to distort the words spoken by the Director of the FBI. He was asked if he had ever had a problem with a person legally carrying a concealed weapon and he answered that he had not had any problems. Nothing more.

Our gun crime is now the lowest on record due to diligent enforcement of laws introduced after avoidable massacres by gun nuts, to the extent that we now have more killed by lightning strikes each year

Our police force has killed 52 criminals since 1900. Your police force killed 111 just last month alone !. We lost no police officers in the line of duty last year you lost 126. So what is it makes your criminals that much more of a lethal problem than ours ? What is it that differentiates our two societies ?

I wonder just how long you can keep this denial going ?

Forever . . . at least in the world they inhabit.

Give the shooter a break. He was probably trying to take the cop's picture with a camera but accidentally reached for his gun instead.

Yep. No problems. You don't often have problems with law abiding citizens. You do with criminals. You want to solve the worlds ills and make a difference...start with them.

Yep...no doubt...we have a lot of criminals. We should really do something about them. That doesn't change the fact that even in England where guns are banned there is a trade in illegally smuggled guns...right?

What makes it different is we have a bunch of whiny bleeding hearts that shed tears when criminals get out in jail for committing criminal acts. We have a bunch of morons that focus on causes instead of criminals. Take this instance for example. We have a career thug that shot a cop and you have, in order, a group of douchebags wanting to protest a poor widdle victim killed by a cop and another group of douchebags moaning about guns. Neither group has said word one about the scumbag that **** the cop unprovoked.

Telling. And sadly typical.

How did that alcohol ban work out? How do drug bans work keeping drugs out of the hands of criminals?

You remember those guys...right? The 'criminals'?

Talk about denial.

That trade no doubt exists but has been made so difficult and expensive to conduct that our shooting deaths have fallen dramatically from an already very low level.

So is it them thats giving them the guns then ?

Sounds to me more like you have a bunch of morons concentrating on the symptoms in order to desperately avoid addressing the causes

The point you are choosing to miss is that the cop would have been alive today had the 'scumbag' in question not have found it so easy to lay his hands on a firearm in the first place.

The point you are missing is criminal scumbags get their hands on banned substances all the time....and you haven't said dick about the criminal scumbag.

God bless causes.

It wasn't a banned substance that killed the cop it was a gun.

Do those laws against those banned substances prevent criminals from getting those banned substances? Dont you think your idiotic cause would be better served targeting perpetrators rather than objects?
