Tsarnev is found guilty and guilty of the charges that carry the death penalty. The penalty phase should be (I would assume) be seeking the death penalty, though I do not believe Mass. has executed someone since the 1940's.
Lock the idiot up for life with no possibility of parole and be done with it. Close the door and throw away the key, done and dusted.

He committed terrorism and needs to be punished accordingly.

Whenever I start to think that the death penalty is too much for this animal I think of one thing, Martin Richard. I hope that little lad haunts his dreams until his last day....

You actually prefer that a convicted terrorist who killed 4 people (2 of whom were children) get 3 hots and a cot for the rest of his life on the taxpayer dime?

Because some crimes merit permanent removal from the gene pool.

Ah yes, a dreamless sleep. That'll show him. I know I would rather be put out of my misery than spend a lifetime behind bars. But that is me. He is obviously trying to avoid the death penalty.

Not surprising there. The big thing will be sentencing. I think life in prison without the possibility of parole is appropriate.

I don't believe in state-sponsored revenge killing, so yes.

I'd prefer that he spend the rest of his long life making little rocks out of big rocks in the hot desert sun.

And I'm not a fan of the death penalty in any case.

I'm sure he will enjoy taking his showers
