Of course Christianity is under attack. :eyeroll:

Please prove He wasn't. It's the atheists quest is it not? Not satisfied to believe something, but militant in trying to convince others there is no God.

I don't care if you don't believe, what drives such hate that you have to force others not to believe.

And many, more than any other faith contend He still is.

Reply if you like, I won't respond....this is very boring and childish.

I was just answering your question... It might be proof to some people if there is evidence that jesus' body resides there... doesn't mean it's enough proof to you. it might be enough for others... and something at least worth considering if someone wants to honestly record history without bias.
if there is a difference in historic evidence than from the bible, that's worth looking into.

Without the resurrection then Christianity really doesnt have a leg to stand on. But then again Jesus and James were common names back then so it could be anyone even if the tomb is verified. The best way to prove Christianity is to find Lazarus.

How could it prove it? The inscription proves nothing. Calling it "virtually unequivocal evidence" is hyperbole at best.

Well, since Jesus wasn't buried in a family tomb, this is pretty much debunked right off the bat...

According to The Gospel of Thomas, found in a jar at the Nag Hammadi, Jesus had a twin brother, also named Thomas. Perhaps they found Jesus' twin?
