I like the man on several of his stances, be it many of his foreign policy stances, but when it comes down to it, just seems like another right wing populist.

The truth of the matter he is far from being a populist.....even he says he is a little bit of a libertarian.

Myself, I think he can pull Iowa. But that's about as far as he goes. We don't need another model of a so called leader with hardly any experience leading the nation again.

All have learned their lesson with BO peep.....and now after the defeat of Hillary. Its going to be sometime before the Demos ever gain the WH again. Which for this country.....is a very good thing.

LOL You think Jeb can defeat Hillary? That is a laugh. The GOP has given up actively seeking the Whitehouse they are far more comfortable as the Kurmudgeon party now. It fits them perfectly. A bunch of old white men keeping kids off their lawn.

What.....NO, try again. Not a Jeb nor a Jethro. Just sayin!

Oh, and you can forget about Hillary. First you have to hope she don't get charged with anything.

While my first choice for 2016 GOP ticket is still Cruz & Palin - I would also be very happy if the party tapped Paul to be their standard bearer.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a Rand Paul nomination. He has managed to alienate alot of the moderate liberals and libertarians that would have made up his base when he went full Tea Party nutter. And the Tea Partiers tend to prefer Ted Cruz. So basically he has screwed himself over.

He has new fresh ideas that are actually different compared to the Republicrats, and he has no way of people to hear them because of the institutional bias against his party. I too would be slightly withdrawn when asked about running.
