I'm well aware of that MMC. But the truth of the matter is Kasich could not have balanced the state of Ohio's budget without taking federal funds to expand Medicaid and funds for Common Core.

Showing up on the Alex Jones show is a great way to kill any presidential ambitions

Ohio is also entitled to those funds as a matter of law.

Whether or not those funds should be there is irrelevant, if someone gave you 1500 bucks yu can count that as part of your budget

On principle it is relevant. The federal government should not be seducing states with funding by forcing them to comply with certain mandates.

The federal government is out of control.

You have an interesting definition of the word force, that barista at Bertolinis wouldn't make me a cup of coffee, then I forced him to do it by paying the price on the board ......

The Feds can provide funding for the accomplishment of certain goals. Public health and education are worth funding

Whenever a state takes monies from the federal government, there are a boatload of regulations attached. Depending on who is in control of Congress/White House those regulations can differ greatly. It is better for a state to be in control of such things. It is closest to the people they serve. They would be hawks on waste and fraud and know precisely where the monies are greatly needed instead of following some same size fits all programs by the federal government that do not best serve the people.

No, they both need to lose. They have both ruined the democratic system.

If you recall, the President offered a waiver exempting States of Federal regulations tied to TANF funding IF they could come up with a working and proven model to replace them that met or exceeded results under Federal rules. Do you know how many States ultimately took up that offer?
