Ordinary Iranians are hoping this means an end to sanctions. The White House has repeatedly said that sanctions don't come off until the Iranians prove themselves trustworthy and capable of adhering to the agreement, which is never going to happen.

The appearance of progress is illusory. The hope for progress is naive beyond stupidity.
Hardliners in both Iran and the United States will not be happy. Civilized people will be happy.

Obama has proven yet again that good diplomacy works. Just think about what this man has done now: In less than one year, he has helped to thaw relations with two nations with whom we have had next to zero diplomatic ties for decades. Compare this progress with that of his predecessor!

You think that the Iranian negotiators were working outside the knowledge or approval of the so called "hard liners"? By the way, what's a hard liner? Netanyahu, Khomeini, McCain?

    I am happy for them!

True, but then again, if one were to show unhappiness or be critical of the government, you may "disapear".

I'm, sure most are not faking it. though I am also sure there are those not 100% on board, but they probably wouldn't dare say anything.

Ok, so are you suggesting that Iranians, the citizenry, want a nuclear weapons powered Iran?

No it does mean something. You simply don't want it to mean anything.

They have agreed to a suspension of sanctions that is proportional to the verification of the steps taken such as the redesign of a reactor. They have agreed to cut the number of centrifuges to under 6000.

What the U.S. is trying to do is make sure that it takes Iran has at the very least a one year break out capability, i.e. it could not take Iran less than a year to actually build a nuclear weapon. That is reasonable.

It is illusory in your mind, not in the minds of reasonable people around the world.

Dunno, They probably don't care as long as sanctions are lifted...

    The regime does.

You folks, apparently refuse to see it.
