20 % is the critical point- from there it is nothing to 90 % plus.
Hard part - time consuming is getting to the 20 % mark.
And inspections take care of that.

Well, one thing is for certain. Menendez the leading Democrat against BO's deal wont be there to speak out. He has been forced to step down.
Menendez on the 2nd post in this thread--who would have guessed--again?
You head what you wanted today--not what was said.
Sanctions cannot be removed for at least 3 months after the June deadline--and then only gradually--and then only with severely strict oversight.

But heh, Bibi and the GOP Bozos just say NO--hell NO--fear mongering and warmongering for the MIC .

Some in the media will call this a "deal." It's not. It's a face-saving, time-buying charade -- an implicit admission that years of repeatedly-extended negotiations have resulted in nothing concrete, with yet another deadline disappearing in the rearview mirror. Consider this tortured verbiage provided to the Associated Press:

Iran and six world powers have agreed on the outlines of an understanding to limit Iran's nuclear programs, officials told The Associated Press Thursday. Negotiations continued on a dispute over how much of it to make public. The officials spoke outside weeklong talks that have been twice extended past the March 31 deadline in an effort to formulate both a general statement of what has been accomplished and documents describing what needs to be done to meet a June 30 deadline for a final accord...The Iranians want any results from talks in the Swiss city of Lausanne described less as a deal and more of an informal understanding … Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who left Lausanne Tuesday, said the two sides were close, the Interfax news agency reported. There are "only a few steps left to take or, in some cases, even-half steps, and some things have already been agreed upon," he said. But as the talks dragged on, one Western official said early Thursday that they were "at a tough moment and the path forward is really unclear," adding that the idea of breaking talks off over Passover and Easter and resuming them next week had been informally raised. That was confirmed by another official...By blowing through self-imposed deadlines, President Barack Obama risks further antagonizing lawmakers in both parties who are poised to take their own action to upend a deal if they determine the administration has been too conciliatory.

So we have "outlines of an understanding" that allow the parties to keep on negotiating, with the Iranians (a) stressing that the agreement is informal and non-binding at this stage, and (b) lobbying to keep as many details -- to the extent that they exist at all -- private. The Guardian reports that this "understanding" will feature "secret parameters." So far, Iranian officials seem pretty excited about this "breakthrough:".....snip~

    Greetings, MMC.

They were supposedly the supplicants, but they're making the rules? In six months they have agreed to nothing, but in one night everything important is resolved? We are not to know the details, though, and Congress is to take no action, but trust a deal of which they don't know the details? WTH is this?

Someone pointed out on another blog site a few days ago that if this deal were suddenly resolved, to look at the fact that Friday, April 3, 2015 is both the start of Passover for the Jews, and Good Friday for Christians[B] and that is a very rare occurrence, so much so that the Catholic Church has moved Easter to the following week if they happen to coincide! Since the Arabs are big on making non-verbal statements - the Benghazi attack happened on the anniversary of 9-ll-2001 - I got a very bad chill when I read the news today, because Iran has so often stated that they wish death on both the US and Israel!

I clarified my remarks later in the post: "At many of their facilities that the P5+1 was most concerned about, they have agreed to halt."

Obama has no clue what "transparency" is, let alone promising it from the Iranians.

    Oh!

    A pissing match between pundits!

OK... Glad you can count your months. Or are you seriously saying that Iran is now going to start moving forward with creating a nuclear bomb before June????

    Yup. Its cuz OBAMA!

If you’re looking for good news, here you go: Starting at the bottom of page two, not only has Iran agreed to “regular access” by inspectors to all of its nuclear facilities, including the fortified plant inside the mountain at Fordo, but they’ve agreed to the IAEA’s “Additional Protocol,” which authorizes “snap inspections.” That had been a sticking point during the home stretch of the talks; eight days ago, Iran’s chief spokesman called snap inspections “illegal.” Unless there’s a legal wrinkle I’m missing, they ended up caving on that. They also supposedly agreed to let UN inspectors investigate suspected nuclear sites, not just sites that are already known. That’ll be useful when, not if, they eventually try to cheat by building covert enrichment sites under the IAEA’s nose. Iran, meanwhile, gets to sell this as a victory back home insofar as they haven’t agreed to close any site that’s already operating. (They have, however, agreed not to build any new ones, another important point when they inevitably try to cheat.) Even Fordo will keep operating with centrifuges in place, albeit as a monitored “research” facility with no uranium allowed on the premises......snip~

Looks like Fordo will keep operating with centrifuges in place. Despite being a research facility that they say no uranium will be allowed on the premises.
