Silly little liberal boy.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Bob Menendez has been charged with using his office to improperly benefit a Florida eye doctor and political donor.

A federal grand jury on Wednesday indicted the New Jersey Democrat on charges including conspiracy to commit bribery and wire fraud.

Prosecutors had been investigating whether Menendez improperly advocated for the business interests of Dr. Salomon Melgen, including by intervening on the doctor's behalf in a medical billing dispute.

Menendez has acknowledged that he flew on Melgen's private plane to the Dominican Republic and failed at first to properly pay for the trips. He later made reimbursements.

Menendez, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has previously said he's done nothing wrong and that he and Melgen have been close friends for a long time.

I smell a book deal, perhaps a movie.

One down, five hundred to go.

I have to say it's refreshing that the Obama administration's Justice Department has found a crime they wish to prosecute.

Menendez is not tight with the administration.

Oh, and Right after BO's two deadlines for Iran has passed and they have no deal. Right at the time Menendez and Kirk are going to push forward the bill for sanctions on Iran. Quite a coincydincy there, huh?

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

I was wondering how long it would take you two to smell a conspiracy between BO peeps, Menendez, and the Iranian talks .

Well really Menendez has been critical of BO's Foreign Policy long before the Iranian Nuke Talks......When Menendez was causing BO some dandruff over Cuba. Thats when they let in on he was under investigation and it looked like he was going to be indicted.

Hopefully Kirk will still push the bill anyways. Plus Rubio and Cotton have theirs.

You heard that Joe Walsh wants to get Kirk knocked out of his Senate Seat.....which then that just makes it easy for Duckworth to win the seat. Demos will be throwing a lot of money at this seat in 2016. Since it use to be BO's.

Well, we know whos next on BO's hit list. Don't we?

Howard Dean: Yeah, It's Time to Walk Away From the Iran Negotiations.....

According to some White House defenders' simplistic and demagogic formulation, skeptics of the Iran deal are beating the drums of war. This ignores a range of alternative options, including the imposition of crippling sanctions, but that's not the point. The point is to pretend that Obama's permissive deal is the only thing standing between the US and a ground war in Iran. Via NRO, say hello to Howard Dean, warmonger:

He counsels the American delegation to pack up and leave, and perhaps return to the table at a later date when additional pressure has been ratcheted up against the regime. Here's where things stand at last report: Top negotiators from several countries have departed Switzerland, despite the US' insistence that talks continue past yesterday's deadline. Because the rate of progress is "slow going," according to the British Foreign Minister, this is the farcical readjustment of expectations bleeding out of the negotiations:.....snip~

Howard Dean is clearly a rabid right winger!

BO thought he got rid of him when he was replaced as Head of the DNP. Which this isn't the first time Dean has been out telling BO what to do. But at least he is calling it Right.

All things considered, Howard Dean is more a strategist than a politician. But in a scale of lean he might be further left than Obama ever has been.

Haven't you been saying all along that DEMs march goose-step behind Dear Leader ?

Thats true. I can't help but wonder what the Dean strategy is in saying this? Perhaps he knows it will fail, paint dems as soft of foreign threats, and impact dems in the upcoming elections.

They usually do, but Dean is no longer part of the democrat party, and I think plenty of dems worried about the direction Obama has taken the party-reference the elections last november when the dems gave the republicans their biggest victory in decades.

Greetings, Hatuey. :2wave:

I don't know much about the man, and you may be correct, but it looks to most people like he is being railroaded on this matter because he previously disagreed with BHO on Cuba, and that's unfair treatment no matter which party you belong to, especially when you're speaking for many of the constituents who elected you to represent them in DC!

Haven't you been saying all along that DEMs march goose-step behind Dear Leader ?

No that wasn't me.....Might have been USC. But then I'll bet we all look a like to ya, huh?

Unsure, perhaps the "deal" is simply that bad. And it appears some Dems are not on board with this.
