Wait until all those who are allways yelling about the "free market" start calling for more government to protect the religious. Comedy Gold

As much as I find it deplorable that businesses are treating customers as second-class citizens, I grow tired of the internet mob and its childish antics.

I wonder how many of the Yelp responders were actually from Indiana much less the same community as the pizza shop. I'm guessing the number approaches zero.

If the rights of the religious are being trampled, to whom would you expect them to turn?

Who the **** uses Yelp anymore?

What I don't understand is why any business would proactively announce they are going to discriminate. Did they just want the publicity? even if it's bad?

I also don't understand why any pizza restaurant thinks it would be chosen to cater a gay/lesbian wedding. At any rate -

Aprils fools perhaps? That must be some wedding catered by a pizza shop.

I'm going to guess it IS zero. It's probably the same pathetic idiots who trashed the doctor rating of that doctor who had her partner see the baby of the gay couple.

Sorry, this is just dishonest and deceitful and is very childish.

Ahahahaha I didn't even think of that. What couple wants their wedding catered by a pizza place?

I wouldn't know. But what I do know is that the role of government to secure individual rights. So yes, that is where I would expect them to turn.

Their childish antics have a state's Governor's ass clinching. So much for child's play.

I suspect as many (maybe more) will frequent the business as boycott it.

Im reminded of the Chick Filet fiasco.

The axiom "no such thing as bad publicity" was invented by Hollywood and the American populace thought it applied to everything.

The IN bill allowed business owners to trample on rights.

This pizza place deserves everything it is going to get from the public.

there is an ongoing court case about legal liability for leaving yelp reviews.

seems to me, those using the reviews as a means of political activism are liable for damages caused by their fraudulent reviews

After seeing how profitable it was for Chick-fil-A perhaps this just a case of an enterprising business owner putting his little shop on the map for the cost of a press release. Look at all the free advertising the pizza shop is getting now.

So as one little pizza shop tries to capitalize on the law....Indiana's multi billion dollar sports, convention, and tourist industries are taking a nose dive.

Im reminded of the Chick Filet fiasco.

In September 2012, The Civil Rights Agenda (TCRA) announced that Chick-fil-A has "ceased donating to organizations that promote discrimination, specifically against LGBT civil rights." According to the TCRA, Chick-fil-A officials stated in an internal document that they "will treat every person equally, regardless of sexual orientation", although there had never been any accusations of discrimination against the company, only against the company and its foundations' contributions.[68]

In a letter from Chick-fil-A's Senior Director of Real Estate, the company stated: "The WinShape Foundations is now taking a much closer look at the organizations it considers helping, and in that process will remain true to its stated philosophy of not supporting organizations with political agendas."[69]

According to Chicago Alderman Proco "Joe" Moreno, Chick-fil-A has a statement of respect for all sexual orientations in an internal document called Chick-fil-A: Who We Are and has promised that its not-for-profit arm, WinShape, would not contribute money to groups that oppose gay marriage.[70]

Best part about ordering pizza for your reception is that if it doesn't arrive in 30 minutes, it's free - and that means more Bud Light for everyone!

Not so. You don't have a right to someone elses services or labor. So me not serving you is not a violation of your rights.

well here ya go, as I've been saying, free market in action.

Businesses should be able to serve who they wish, or not. and reap the rewards/repercussions of thier actions.

Point, proven,

No it doesn't. They can make the statement they did with or without the law, and there has been 0 successful cases of justified discrimination via an RFRA defense.

Additionally, they said they would continue to serve anyone at their place of business as their statement applied to a catering option. Not 100% sure if they even offer catering, as that's different than delivery.
