So does respect for others, a requirement to participate in a society, I believe.

Seems like those thugs don't want to be part of society. Maybe they'll learn what the need to learn behind bars.

Oh wait. Too many behind bars already.

I'll bet they are not found, and if found, they'll get off with a slap on the wrists, which in turn, will only embolden them to commit more violent crime. They are setting themselves on this life course by their own actions.

But I get it. White privilege and all that. Clearly the white guy had it coming to him.

We should applaud and reward these brave young freedom fighters! (Well according to some anyway).

Yeah, but the civil right lawyer would have raped him and cost him dearly.
As it is, he got off with cuts and bruises rather than 10 years of hell in the legal system had he shot them.

And yet...look at what happens across the nation. People will defend them as just reacting. People will blast out accusations of racism for no reason, but something like this? Nah. It isn't a hate crime. It isn't in need of an fbi investigation. There is 0 commentary on it. Why? It isn't politically expedients

A black guy shot a white cop in Boston the other day. A black guy with a rap sheet longer than my arm, who had a previous record of shooting at cops. The white cop is going to live, apparently, but just barely. I missed all of the riots in Boston this weekend. I was there on Saturday and it was calm.

I also didn't see the story covered on the home page of MSN.

If you read my second paragraph, you'd know that I don't like any protected groups. However, to the question of it will be treated as a hate crime, that couldn't happen because of what the law is.

But yeah, you guys keep debating that straw man. You'll win someday.

That beating had nothing to do with Michael Brown. He was going to get hit no matter what his answer was. Those guys were looking for trouble and spotted someone they thought wasn't going to fight back.

You have no idea if they were after white people or not. And, since most crime committed by one race is done to someone of the same race, the odds are not in your opinion's favor.

So, you're of the opinion that they were simply targeting anyone who didn't look capable of fighting back effectively, and not necessarily white people?

Could be. That would make them cowards and not racists at least.

The ones who play the race card over a shooting that had nothing to do with race. The race baiters who encouraged riots. Obama and holder who want hate crimes investigated...because there is a black victim, but no investigations when it was clearly racially motivated.

You want to know who says it is acceptable? The ones who preach that racism is evil...and when a glaring example of it lands in a big steaming pile in front of them...do NOTHING. Make no comment.

I'm not a party to any myself. But I think, at present anyway, that this was a horrific racially motivated crime. Who has said that this crime is acceptable, who?
