    Wrong.

Tossing it will free people to make their own decision.

But I don't expect you to agree that people are able to take care of themselves if they are given the chance. You want the government to take care of them...make their decisions for them...with all the strings attached that the government can get away with.

If you take over the full payments, sure. If you seek to get your health insurance through your employer (as most Americans do), and you are a congresscritter, however, the law requires you to use the exchange.

The more people complain about how Cruz feels compelled to follow even laws he doesn't like, the more they draw a natural contrast between him and "We Don't Need No Stinking Emails" Hillary. I'm not a fan of the idea of Cruz for President, but ya'll know you are only helping him, right?

No one is forced to get on obamacare's plans! Why do people keep saying this, it's just preposterous. I want the government to provide healthcare to everyone, as it is a basic human right, but that's just my opinion based on my compassion for other human beings.

At some point one has to know when you are defeated. I'd say the moment Sen. Cruz signs up for ObamaCare is the moment he recognizes he lost that fight.

It's easy for politicians like Mitt Romney and now Sen. Cruz to claim "they're just falling the law," but when you also claim to be such a principled Conservative and you cave and hide behind adhering to the law, you lose credibility in my book.

Now, if he were to state publically that he accepts that ObamaCare is the law of the land where health care coverage policy is concerned and then he signs up for it, I'd give him props because at least people (myself included) could acknowledge that he tried to repeal the law, but attempts by himself and his Republican colleagues failed. But until he makes such a public pronouncement and instead hides behind "following the law," I just can't accept that he's doing this for any reason other than a stunt of some sort.

    What is his end-game here?

Oh for the days of Lincoln, TR, and IKE.

And Nixon on domestic policy--now reviled by "modern GOPs" on items like the EPA.

    You mad, bro?

So in this article you keep posting where is the Cruz quote that validates the article headline? Does Cruz say he was required to use the exchanges? My misreading of the Grassley amendment aside, where does CRUZ say that he thinks he is legally required to use the SHOP exchange?

Bad move, you just gave me the opportunity to Post the devastating truth again.
    Enjoy it.
A straw man blog post from Think Progress isn't as devastating as you seem to think.

Now you've gone and done it.
You've said the government should provide healthcare to everyone.
If that's not bad enough, you've called it a basic human right .
