Yes, it's all the fault of corporate America. Of course.

Saudi Arabia warns of 'necessary measures' over Yemen - BBC News

Asked if the Saudis would offer military aid to Mr Hadi, whom it recognises as Yemen's legitimate ruler, Prince Saud said: "Certainly, countries in the region and the Arab world will take the necessary measures to protect the region from aggression," according to Reuters.

He accused Shia-majority Iran, the Saudis' main regional rival, of attempting to "stir up sectarian conflict".

Everything flows from Obama's decision, against all advice, to remove the military from the Middle East. There should be upwards of 50,000, plus coalition troops, to stop the spread of ISIS and maintain some order. Now everything is getting far worse than when he pulled the troops in 2011 and more deaths and chaos will certainly follow.

So we should of sent more troops to Yemen as the country falls apart into a multi-sided civil war?

The Saud built a fence across their Border. Complete with sensors and Towers. I think they were worried about the 1/3rd part of Yemen that's Shia. Probably think that the Sunni in Yemen aren't capable of maintaining control. Or able to control the Shia.

This is what Obama said just a few months ago.

"This counterterrorism campaign will be waged through a steady, relentless effort to take out [the Islamic State] wherever they exist, using our air power and our support for partner forces on the ground. This strategy of taking out terrorists who threaten us, while supporting partners on the front lines, is one that we have successfully pursued in Yemen and Somalia for years"

It's not that Obama is just the most stupid president in US History, he is quite likely the stupidest leader of any democracy in world history. This man has blood all over his hands.
How is this Obama's fault? Yemen has collapsed because of a decade-long insurgency by the Houthis that's been backed by Iran. The campaign to prevent al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula from posing any major terrorist threat has been successful because of the drone program; the Houthis are a separate issue entirely that should really be handled by Saudi Arabia.

    Yeah, that was afterwards.

Yemen's new national unity government, comprised of an equal number of opposition and loyalist ministers, approved the law in accordance with the transfer agreement that Saleh signed in neighboring Saudi Arabia late last year.

The agreement, brokered by Yemen's powerful Arab neighbors and backed by the United States, grants Saleh immunity in exchange for him hand handing over powers to his deputy. Saleh is scheduled to hand over the presidency to his vice president, Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, on Feb. 21.....snip~
