    Cruz to Announce Monday

Looks like Senator Cruz is going to be the first out of the gate. I find it kind of hilarious that he's making his announcement at Liberty University. If you want to signal that you have no real intention of being the nominee or winning the Presidency this is the way to do it. I see many a book deal in his future.

Ugh. I'd trade anything for Cruz not to be standing on the stage at the first Republican debate.
Like, two Huckabees. Give me two Huckabees or Santorum's smug mug and a half. Just don't make me listen to Cruz.

I feel the exact same way. I just want the crazies to stop sabotaging the party and its chances.

I'm sure that Cruz will write a few books. But the only way that he'll ever see the inside of the White House is as a guest.

I'm sure that he'll have a lot of support from the far-right evangelicals in the GOP, but they'll never put him in the White House.

The man is too far-right to ever get elected president.

True, but their votes will more easily translate to the next viable. There's not just Cruz strategy, there's GOP strategy. I wish I shared your optimism that America won't give the WH back to the GOP this time.

I don't believe that the majority of American voters are going to put someone in the White House who supports the idea of getting the U.S. Government off of Wall Street's back and into every American bedroom.

I hear you shrub, hope you're correct, but I'm not sure.

Senator Ted Cruz is such an unappealing, polarizing individual with his extreme set of opinions, criticisms, and beliefs, that nowhere in my imagination can I ever envision this political fanatic being president of the US. Even among Republicans he's 3rd tier and is accepted chiefly by the Tea Party extremist group.
