    Yemen. A new power rises

While everyone is obsessed with Iran and Israel I would like to draw the attention of those who care to the following article in The Guardian:
Shia rebels seize Yemen's third largest city, say military | World news | The Guardian

In a nutshell, Yemen treads in the steps of Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Libya. Revolutions in all of the above mentioned countries started as secular protests against authoritarian regimes. The outcomes are well-known to general public. What some of us consider unpredictable side-effects others attribute to Pentagon's direct interests. Controlled chaos absorbs whole countries, letting American concerns shine through smoke and blood.

The map of the Mediterranean sea oil routes should give you a hint:

Everything has a reason to happen.

for sure NATO/US caused the chaos in Libya, and the US in Iraq..Syria self imploded with the Arab Spring
I'm not so sure about popular uprisings in Afgh, and from what I know about Yemen it's pure sectarianism/tribal loyalties that plunge that country into civil war

The difference between all these cases is only in details. I am not saying they were purely caused by the US but there is clear American presence in the region.

"While everyone is obsessed with Iran"?
You do realize that these Shiite militias are all Iranian proxies?

Yemen is simply the newest toy in Khamenei's playground.

Agreed. Of course, with the preoccupation with the fires all over the region, seems some bodies taking advantage.

Us proxies are all over this. But seems folks only see the Iranian proxies, lol. Why in the hell wouldn't Iran advance Iranian interests in their region, even if they run counter to US interests.
