US police shoot attacker at New Orleans airport

What was the religious, political and/or ideological goal of this man's attack, then? Because that's what terrorism means - targeting non-combatants to further any one (or multiple) of those ends.

PeteEU, the "Dane", strikes again.

Wait a minute.. since when is "religious, political and/or ideological" goals needed to be a terrorist attack? After all Sandy Hook, Gabby Gifford and a lot of other attacks in the US with clear political or religious motives have never been categorized as "terror attacks".. Here we have a man with bombs attacking a public institution.. so that must be a terror attack.
