Thats because the American economy sucks 6 years into Obama's presidency.
Bush broke it, and Obama's been working to fix it while the GOP has been a force of opposition. Wouldn't it look bad for a republican president to ruin the economy and a democratic president to fix it.

If you tell the wealthy to do something just because they have more money than the poor, you are preying on the wealthy.

It doesn't matter if you think doing all these things result in your "good" things...benevolence, assistance, promotion. Unlike the typical liberal mindset, the ends do NOT justify the means.
You keep saying me. But I've been clear from the beginning that there is a role for government to play. If you disagree with aspects of the governments role, you know what you have to do.

Wall street is but one avenue through which corporatist money is funneled .....see Koch Brothers et. al. for details....
The problem with predatory capitalism is that eventually, the capitalist runs out of people and planet to exploit.

I didn't correct any error. My edit was simply an attempt to get you to keep on topic.

And now you are going off in another direction...talking about what conservatives here are doing. I am not "conservatives here". I speak for myself.

I haven't blamed Democrats for companies holding on to their money. I've only spoken against lefties thinking they have a right to tell companies what they must spend their money on.

What on earth has war to do with anything I've talked about?

Dude...you are tossing irrelevant stuff against the wall. It won't stick.

    Progressive nonsense...

Japan blew through 10 Stimulus packages in the 90s spending more than 10 Trillion Yen on things like " infrastructure "

All it did was grow their debt and paper over the fundamental economic issues.

Well PM Abe stepped in and iniated 4 more Stimulus packages and monetary stimulus on top of that.

Now the only creditor buying Japanese bonds is theor own zombie banks and the Japanese Government is having to dedicate 40 percent of their total revenue just to pay interest on their record debt

Just a 2 point climb in their rates and Japan would have to dedicate 100 percent of their total revenue just to pay interest on their debt.

The Japanese economy is shrinking and their consumers are getting fleeced by IDIOTIC PROGRESSIVE economic " solutions ".

You have no idea what your'e talking about but of-course thats a given.

    " Progressive Power " !!! Lol ..

I'm disagreeing with your contentions about what the government's role is. You think they should do those "good" things you spoke of. I think they should leave people alone and mind their own business...you know, do what they are required to do in the Constitution.

No, the Democrats " broke it " back when Clinton and the Democrats co-opted the GSEs into the Sub prime market.

You can say what you wish. Corporations donated more money to Democrats from 2006-2009 mainly because they controlled congress. In July of 2010 that changed and the Republicans became the beneficiaries of corporations. Now why would that change? In July of 2010 the hand writing was on the wall the GOP would win the House. Corporations and Wall Street want our politicians to owe them, one way they can accomplish this is through millions of dollars in campaign donations.

You mention Koch, the GOP would mention Soros. What is the difference? None really. In fact many corporations and Wall Street donate to both candidates and parties. They will donate the most to whom they think will win, but they also donate less to the other candidate. This way no matter who wins they are owed.

As I stated, the party who controls congress always gets the most money. The reason is simple, incumbents usually win.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

What's the difference between the Koch Brothers and Soros?! If you have to ask, you haven't been paying attention, mate!
