U.S. companies hoard record amount of cash

Nothing funny about it.

Obama...the most politically motivated, most lying politician in the most lying Party...not surprising he suckered voters into electing him.

Obamacare...the worst, most damaging and free choice denying legislation to ever be shoved down the American people's throat by a party that doesn't care if the people didn't want it.

Ah. So because of Obamacare, everybody else lost but the guy who it was named after. And that is your definitive 'proof' that the ACA is a failure.

Do YOU even believe the stuff you write?

What???

Do you even understand the stuff you read??

Funny... The guy it's named for seemed to have no trouble getting reelected, but you seem to skip over that.

That's not surprising for two reasons. One, the obamacare **** did not hit the fan until late 2013 when millions, myself included started receiving the cancellation letters on individual health insurance policies.....followed by the disasterous rollout of "healthcare.gov". Two, African Americans understandably went to the polls on election day to vote for the first African American president just as they did in 2008. If the presidential election had occurred in 2014, I have my doubts that he would have been re-elected, or if he had, it would have been by a razor thin margin.

.
Yep...in his first post midterm election in 2010, in his own way, he admitted that obamacare was vastly unpopular. He did not care. His His slogan was: Let's not refight previous battles.

They don't know where to put all that money! Hahaaaaa! What a bleak situation.

Fewer employees, more automation, less company overhead...

More unemployed, bigger national debts, higher taxes and inflation, higher living costs, more dependency, bigger national debts...

Most of us often feel like asking you that same question. Your party has had it's ass royally kicked in 2 midterm congressional elections, lost control of both houses of congress, the majority of state legislatures and the majority of governors races. Your party has lost the gerrymandering advantage it held for over 50 years. All of this primarily due to obamacare. Yet you keep attempting to put lipstick on the pig known as obamacare. Nobody is buying it.

Its not primarily due to the ACA.

But you dont understand that, much like you've clearly demonstrated you dont understand Obamacare! Amazing stuff.

How can one be both 1) "the most politically motivated" politician, and 2) not "care if the people didn't want" his namesake legislation?

What we have here is a guy with the ability to hold two opposing views in his head at the same time and believe they are both true. Its the only way he has to deal with actual reality, which he stubbornly refuses to accept. Abnormal Psychology 101.

I especially like the rationale that Obamacare was what voters hated the most, but just so happened not to get around to voting out the guy it was named for. Nonesensical is the only polite word to use there.

Obama is the most politically motivated politician. The Democratic Party didn't care.

The Democrats...specifically Reid and Pelosi...saw the chance to get some kind of "health care reform" because they had control of the government. If they hadn't been dead set on that law, Obama wouldn't have fought for it. It was politically advantageous for Obama to side with those Democrats.

Look, I'll give you another example: Gay marriage.

That wasn't big on the Democrat's radar so Obama took his safe position of thinking it should be up to the States. He didn't give a rip that the gay community hated him for that. But later, when the Democrats needed an issue in their favor for the election, he "evolved". It's all political for Obama and he doesn't care what people think.

I don't know about abnormal psychology, but Obama is a perfect example of two-faced politician with a silver tongue. He doesn't necessarily hold two opposing views in his head at the same time, but he is perfectly able to switch from one view to an opposing view and make people believe he is being honest about it.

I especially like the rationale that Obamacare was what voters hated the most, but just so happened not to get around to voting out the guy it was named for. Nonesensical is the only polite word to use there.

Obamacare had nothing to do with Obama getting re-elected. It simply wasn't much of an issue because it hadn't taken effect yet and people still believed in his lies about it. If the election was last year, Obamacare would have sent him slinking back to Chicago or Hawaii or somewhere. His campaigning abilities, the lies and spin from him and his buddies...like Reid and his Romney tax lie...are what got him re-elected.

You are going to have to do better then that. The single biggest reason the democrats have gone down in flames is in fact "Obamacare". And you can screech and that I don't understand obamacare all you like. It does not matter. I do understand what it has done to me and millions of others who had individual insurance policies canceled by Obamacare. I do understand that for many of us, a health insurance policy that comes with a $6000.00 deductible and sky high premiums is nothing but a prohibitively expensive catastrophic insurance policy. I do understand that a stunning number of employers are limiting unskilled or low skilled new hires to 30 hour work weeks or less to avoid having to provide them with health insurance. The point is that I do not have to be a trained health insurance professional to work out that obamacare has been a flop from the beginning and is only going to get worse. And it's not just me. Even you must be aware by now that Obamacare is vastly unpopular with the majority of Americans.

How about just considering the point that is undeniable. Obamacare is vastly unpopular with the majority of Americans.

Yep. But the things it does are overwhelmingly popular. It's a paradox, explained only by people who don't understand it (like someone around here) and are reflexively partisan.

Last month, 148.3 million Americans were employed in the civilian labor force, up from 145.8 a year ago, an increase of 2.5 million.

Last month, 6.7 million were employed part-time (less than 35 hours) for economic reasons, down from 7.4 million a year ago, a drop of 700K.

It's unfortunate that what you "understand" is so sharply divorced from reality.
