Vendor banned from gun show after selling offensive target

Oh, Boo hoo. PC is really running this country into the ground.

I agree that PC is stupid but at the same time the Show has the right to ban any vendor they want for any reason. No if the Government steps in and tries to ban those targets then we have a problem.

Never actually been to South Dakota, have you? :D

Always wanted to make the run to Sturgis but never had the money and the inclination together at the right time.

Selling 500 (especially in a desolate place like SD) means something. Trying to downplay it won't get you anywhere.

You only have the seller's word on that figure, and he's somewhat less than an upstanding citizen.

Can you explain why anyone who wasn't a racist would want to buy one of these?

maybe to piss off left-wingers or those who went bonkers over a white cop properly shooting a black thug.

Saw the target and had a deep, belly chuckle.

I'm sorry. That was kinda funny.

Shame on me. :3oops:

Especially since targets are usually sold in packs . The NRA standard rifle bullseyes I use come in packs of 50 pages, it's possible the actual number of buyers isn't even double didgets

Still defending the indefensible after 26 pages...

Its call Liberty, The 1st Amendment, The 2nd Amendment, and all other things that free people do, are, and will always be and do so long as they are armed.

You agreed that the incident was humorous.
Well, I think it's funny. The cartoon target is funny because it makes fun of a stereotype and that's my brand of humor; exactly like "you might be a redneck if" jokes which are *more* populer in the state those targets were sold than those targets were. People getting bent out of shape over a cartoon is funny because it's ironic and irony is good humor imo.

The vendor was kicked out, but let's just ignore that. There are no Klan in the Dakotas, but let's ignore that. There are bearly even any black people in the Dakotas, but let's ignore that.

He sold 500 targets, that's literaly 10 people, and they'll take their novelty targets out and shoot them up and the targets will be gon and that's it.

No. Big. Deal.

jerry was responding to a charge that the flyover states were all full of Klan racism

I liked that he responded to such an idiotic charge that suggested the "flyover" states are full of racists based on one clown who got BOOTED out of a gun show by the owner of the show
Shshh don't go pointing out the fact that his targets weren't tolorated, that won't help democrats get elected in a red state tied to the Keystone Pipeline drama playing out in the white house.

You're about the most consistent hack on this site, so your ability to discredit anyone on those grounds is exactly zero.

I don't have to discredit you, you do that for me.

Watch it, you are expressing YOUR First Amendment. Libs dont like it if it done jive with their version of the 1A.

Horse****. Nobody is suggesting you don't have the right to sell racist gun targets.

What you don't seem to understand is that the rest of us have the First Amendment Right to call that vendor a racist ****head and kick him out of our gun show and refuse to buy things from him ever again.

No, I do, where did you get the idea I did not? I was just insulting that subject.

Yes, you'll see that in America, and right here on this board. And they don't get infracted or banned for it.

Who is the bigot? The person that sees no harm no foul or the overly sensitive PC police agent that uses his faux outrage to deny a person his first amendment right?

No violation of a first amendment right, the guy just offended the sensibilities of the people running the gun show. He was asked to leave just like any unruly customer or a vendor that did not comply with the gun show rules.

And even if the seller is correct, Drummr believes that 500 people bought them. And he has receipts for those 500 sales of a 10 cent item to 500 people.

It's a good way to convince yourself that racism is alive and well in South Dakota if you're looking to try to make that point.

For all we know, 1 guy bought them. 500 of them cost a whopping $50.
