Netanyahu poised for 3rd straight term Israel PM after rival concedes[W:350:384]

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

I had meant the reverse....congress is the toreador....and Odie is the game.....

They have allowed themselves to be trapped too many times. The man is brilliant at setting the message.....

The House has the ultimate red flag - they control the money he desperately wants to spend. I see some Dems crossing over lately to what some radicals are calling the Republican "Dark Side of the Force!" Just saying...

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

What do you think the Arab nations responsibilities are in regards to Israel? How about changing the Hamas Charter? How about stopping the missiles from being launched into Gaza? Seems like the onus is always on Israel when the Arab states are doing very little to recognize Israel's right to exist.

I don't believe the issue of Hamas and Gaza, and that of the West Bank and the Palestinian Authority ought to be linked. I strongly supported Israel's campaigns against Gaza, at the same time I believe it has utterly failed to engage the Palestinian Authority and work towards a final territorial disposition of the West Bank. In fact I think Netanyahu has worked hard to do whatever possible to stand in the path of a Palestinian state.

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

why... ? you want Isreal destroyed or you think the " Barak Herzog" would be a deterent to being attacked?

What? I don't understand your questions. Also it's 'Israel' and 'deterrent'.

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

By "play nice" I suspect you mean roll over and die. You object to their every effort to defend themselves.

Rolling over and dying is not playing at all. Is that it, the Israeli state has to either be oppressive, belligerent assholes, or die? There's no in between?

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

You are in another world... your posts are garbage...

show me the overtures of peace from the PLO, Fatah and Hamas.. at any point in history..

Go set your ass in the Gaza prison for a few decades, then come tell me how benevolent you think the Israeli state is, and how you love them so!

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

It would seem an error occurred...

Let's see it in Hebrew or Persian without your lying interpretation.

Greetings, F&L. :2wave:

When did Israel become racist? Any Jew on this planet is welcome to come and live in Israel, no matter what color they are or what nationality they are - and they have come from all over the world. So where is the racism? The people voted, the opposition conceded the overwhelming results which made Netanyahu the clear winner, and nothing Obama has to say will change that. Sometimes it is better to remain silent....

To the bolded. It had its start as such. And Netanyahu ginned up support this week by claiming that the Arab Israelis were coming out in droves to oppose him. Imagine if a GOPer president running for reelection said that African Americans were coming out in droves to oppose him, lol.

Care to say something coherent. Something one might actually be able to respond to?

Your hatred is bigger than yourself. Go argue with someone else.

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

It is interesting to see that a die hard defender of all things Obama and Clinton that you have already conceded the next election.

As to your question? Let's see, Obama's loving sheep are STILL blaming Bush, even this week the White House put out a statement that Obama's war in Iraq was caused by Bush. So I would say, along with lying, fighting with congress, blaming others and so forth, I would say that Obama has set a new standard for low.......

And knowing American politics I would simply advise get used to it. It will be at least six if not eight long years of hearing "It's Obama's fault"....largely because it's true

The pattern would indicate that a Republican will win in 2016. I'd be surprised if the Dems won.

Every time liberals blame Bush it's "He's not President anymore." Good to know that the right will start acting like whiny liberals in 2 years.

Also, Bush did start the war in Iraq. Spin as you like, it was him.

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

What mess did Obama clean up? You seem to believe that the Obama economic policy which passed in February 2009 led to the end of a recession in June 2009 long before those shovels got to those shovel ready jobs. In fact most of those shovels are apparently still in route. You are like far too many Obama supporters incapable of researching data and only buying the rhetoric.

The entire banking system had pretty much Just collapsed. Blame who you Like, it happened just before he was elected.

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

Yes, how about Israel stop launching missiles into Gaza and free the prisoners.

So what you are saying is that Israel has unilaterally launched missiles into Gaza? Do you have proof of that and that they weren't provoked by being fired upon first? Is that how you would like your country to act when attacked by someone else?

You don't seem to get it, when will the Palestinians learn to love their kids more than they hate Israel?

That was building for years and years, Bush didn't cause it and the Democrat controlled Congress did nothing to prevent it. Wasn't Obama in that Congress?

why does Egpyt hate the people of Gaza?.. why dont they open their border and take them in and give them jobs

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

enough.. what is your issue with Bibi
I don't have an issue with Netanyahu. I don't care one way or another about him. Which is why you accusing me of "jew hate" was not only hilarious, but also a textbook example of exactly what I've been talking about.

So, again, thank you for making my point more clearly than I ever could.
again... you got a an issue with Bibi.. state what it is!!! and why you think electing "Obamas puppet" in Israel would help the nation of Israels survival...
Again, I don't.

You seem to have trouble understanding what's going on.
Criticism based on what?
Be more specific, please.
I'm not a partisan
And I'm not accusing you of being one. I'm just explaining the problem I have with people who routinely make incredibly hateful comments about the President, while criticizing anyone who dares criticize the Israeli leader.

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

I wasn't even addressing that to you. Good grief, do you not understand how quoting works?

Oh, and as for where I got it...just read Travis007 response. Which, of course, you already did because you liked it. So it's REALLY funny that you're still asking where I get that from, even though I was asking a legitimate question to someone who wasn't you.

I already answered it. It's not my fault you didn't bother to read it and it's certainly not my fault you don't understand how quoting works.
Aww, that's cute. You won't answer the questions, but instead decide to do EXACTLY what I've already noted, except to an even greater extreme. Now, according to your post, one doesn't even have to criticize Israel to be called someone practicing "jew hate", they merely have to ask why you can't criticize Israel.

I could not have made my own point better. Thank you for clearly defining my point. Have yourself a great day.
No it's not, unless you consider salient points ironic. Which isn't really the definition of irony, but I've seen you make up your own definitions of things so often it wouldn't surprise me to see you do it again.
Amusing, but your deflection is too apparent.

It's not your "values" which lead you to the conclusion it's okay to criticize one and not another. It's your politics. You're doing nothing more than toeing a party platform.

A person with TRUE values, not influenced by childish partisanship, would say it's okay to criticize ANY government leader. Or they would say you show respect to every government leader. But not you. You say it's okay to criticize one but not another. Cloaking your obvious choice of distinction under the term "value system" doesn't change what you actually use to determine who can be criticized and who cannot.
That sounds downright unpatriotic to me.

...you're right guys, obviously the idea it's okay to insult our President and not the right wing leader of Israel has NOTHING to do with partisan politics. Not at all.

You said
I have this sneaking suspicion your position on this is completely partisan and the only reason you're okay with foreign leaders interfering with domestic disputes is because of your political lean. I find such a thing quite disturbing, as it suggests your allegiance is not with your country, but rather with your political party.

OBAMA interfered with an Israeli election, he sent one of his campaign managers TO ISRAEL to defeat Netanyahu.
At the SAME TIME, lefties cried that Bibi coming here to speak to congress was interfering with our domestic issues.

And why? BECAUSE of blind support for a democrat President.

The argument has zero credibility and is indeed ironic.
Irony-a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result.

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

That was building for years and years, Bush didn't cause it and the Democrat controlled Congress did nothing to prevent it. Wasn't Obama in that Congress?

So we're a number of Republicans. Should we blame them too? Regardless of blame, the timing was right before the 2008 election.

I was just quoting you dude, go back and look at the bolded in your post that I responded to.

Israel is not racist, its just a term flung like poo to smear Israel by leftists.

Earlier in this thread, Monte called the FACT that Islamic aggressors are involved in the majority of the worlds conflict hot spots racist. He does not even understand that the common thread is Islam, NOT race (north or sub saharan africans are not arabs, nor are south east asians).

They just fling terms they know, even if factually inaccurate.

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

Racism in Judiasm is a very deep topic, what many see as racism is distinction of their heritage.....it is part of the teachings of the faith to make and create distinctions from "Gentiles", male and female rites such as circumcision which is more than surgery.

His outburst had nothing to do with Israel, but was the petulant response of a sore loser, whose only fall back after losing yet another election was to charge the favorite accusation of which there is no defense, "racism"...you know, that thing Hillary was guilty of when they were both wanting star status, one of the easiest of four accusations to make, the others being homophobe, mysoginist and slut.

Again I say the real issue is what message is he sending to other allies? "I can try to influence your elections with boots on the ground, accuse you of the worst of sins through miner aides, and accuse you of being racist....to an ally.

As an allied country with a Prime Minister hell bent to extend Canada's mission on the ground in Iraq, I find that rather frightening, the man has no allegiances and will throw anyone, Republican, Hillary, allied countries under the first bus when he does not get his way.

Just the latest example of Obama's "smart" diplomacy.

Re: Netanyahu poised for third straight term as Israel PM after chief rival concedes

Remove the warm and fuzzy, likeability and I see an angry "Odie" from Garfield, leaping like lightening at every provocation.

What confuses me is that the Republicans are too stupid to make that an advantage...wave more red flags at him. Based on this "stupid" they could have been having a field day being Garfield.

The Republicans are cowards, they are afraid to call him out because Obama retains high likability.
I'd argue he retains that because they never call him out.

Plus we have a media that will cover for him.
