Yes, it does matter. We should demand all presidents follow the FOIA installed in 1977. Not just democrats. And yes, I've already said repeatedly that Obama, despite his claims, is not the most transparent administration yet.

    – Issa Tried To Kill A Landmark Expansion Of FOIA Law: In 2007, a bipartisan bill HR 1309 was proposed to expand the FOIA process, including a tracking system for submitters to view the status of their request, new reporting requirements for congressional oversight, and a provision to ensure that requests not processed within twenty days would not require a fee. The Bush administration fought vigorously against the bill. Issa even sponsored an amendment to the bill to kill off the proposed “open records policy,” claiming Al Qaeda would “harvest” the data. In the end, the bill passed by an overwhelming majority in the House, despite Issa’s “no” vote. Unfortunately, it died in the Senate.
You are citing a purposed expansion, THIS is referring to compliance with an already existing law that has been honored for over 30 years, and from the administration that claimed to be the most transparent in history.

    See the difference?

The MOST transparent administration in the history of the Universe!!!!!
Finally a true reflection of reality!

And, of course, NOT covered my the Biased Lame Stream Media. Could make a ruckus about this, as isn't it their FOI requests that are impacted by this? Or at least how this administration chooses to fulfill FOI requests?

Are you suggesting 1977 was 30 years ago?

Well, he did reverse it. It's him, a democrat instead of Bush, a republican that is seizing power now.

USA Today isn't mainstream media? That's where the OP's link is from.

Yep, just as I thought. You can't quote the post where I defended it, because I didn't. You lied.

What the Obamacrats don't see, is that Obama is hardly a better president than any of them, they have excused his every misdeed with "What about....?"

He is in fact the lowest in a long line of low.
Who gives a **** what a Canadian thinks about our president, hmm? Do you even have a clue what happens down the street from you? Do you pretend to know what's happening in America? Find something to do, at home, hear?
