You must have him confused with Obama.
Absolutely not.
You must have him confused with Obama.
A Cheron
You can throw in the fact that his Dad [who is now a citizen] was working for an American company in Canada.
Born in Kenya? Wasn't that Michelle Obama that said that?
Just give me ... nothing.
It was posted where you could find the answers.
Your asking after receiving the reply you did in post #36 is astonishing.
Nobody cared about where Barack Obama was born until the Hillary Clinton supporters said he wasn't born in this country.
The issue of where Ted Cruz was born was only ever important to the people who oppose the idea of Ted Cruz being elected President.
And why is that? What is your information on it? Obama had about the same shot, and he even got reelected after proving that he was incompetent. At least Cruz has a brain.
Because Cruz is a self serving arrogant idiot that is an attention whore that says and does outlandish things. People like that can't get the nomination. If you take off your partisan blinders you'd know that.
Why even mention Cruz was born in Canada? Silly irrelevant questions is the theme of the thread.Your ethnic roots have zero to do with being eligible to be president if you are a citizen. Why even mention he has Kenyan blood if it doesn't matter?
This is good news on the legal front. I would be very very happy to see the GOP nominate ted Cruz for President in 2016.
:naughtyYou're being evasive.

No, I told him the post numbers to finds his answers.
That is not being evasive.
Whut?I love how you conveniently leave out the teabaggers.Nobody cared about where Barack Obama was born until the Hillary Clinton supporters said he wasn't born in this country.

Wrong. You were being evasive and your posts were long and boring when you could have just answered the questions. I skipped over your posts. Life is too short.
So you want the republicans to lose the whitehouse again?
I love how you conveniently leave out the teabaggers.
Has no relevance whatsoever.

Yeah i can't wait to see this kind of regressive insanity running for president:
Ted Cruz: Same-Sex Marriage Rulings Are 'A Real Danger To Our Liberty'
It should be left to the states.
I hear a constant cry from the Left for the FedGov to stay out of our bedrooms yet, when it pleases them....
Whut?
She was speaking about who first started the issue. The tea party had nothing to do with that.
But I do disagree with her in regards to her blanket statement about opposition to Cruz.
I am opposed to him because he is not a natural born citizen.
He was born in Canada, was a Canadian citizen and owed his allegiance to Canada when he was born.
He wasn't even considered a citizen under the 14th amendment. His citizenship was conferred upon him by statute, which is not a natural born citizen.
Anybody who opposed Obama because he is not a natural born citizen for not being born of citizens (plural) and owing allegiance to two other countries at birth, is being a hypocrite if they support Cruz running.
He is nothing more than the intellectual inheritor of anita bryant, getting away with whatever he can to secure the bigot votes. If he was running 2008, he'd be proposing an amendment to ban gay marriage altogether, just as Bush II did
He's a bastard
I didn't make a blanket statement about why people oppose Cruz. I said that the issue of where he was born was only important to people who oppose the idea of him being elected President. The people who plan to support him don't care, as long as it's confirmed that he's qualified.
Cruz had dual citizenship. His mother was an American citizen, and his father was a Cuban refugee. Cruz was raised and educated in the United States. And he was a citizen of the United States from birth. He got Canadian citizenship because Canada grants citizenship to people born there. There isn't any reason to think he has allegiance to Canada. His parents left there when he was 4 years old.
He also gave up his Canadian citizenship.
