Well, you're free to judge color on genes...but, that would make you colorblind, something which I suspect you are not consistent.

I agree 100% but also believe that too much s made of skin color. I'm on the side of MLK who had a dream that people should be judged on the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.

Perhaps rather than skin color society should be looking at the differences in culture and how that might be play a role in people's lives. As we know there are many positive aspects of the Black culture which everyone loves (and the White side could use more of that!) but there is that dark side also, as mentioned earlier re Chicago.

That said, this whole "woe is the Black man in the US" thing is getting stale. If Blacks really gave a ****, they would stop killing each other.
I thought Bubba was the first black president.

Oh. Look at you - your rebuttals are comprised of nothing but juvenile banter now. This is my first time bothering with you - but I've seen your previous "debates", if we can even call them that, you usually give up so easily and then hide behind feigned nonchalance. Nothing new here. I'll accept your concession that you said something stupid that would utterly render the terms "black" and "white" meaningless and that you acknowledge that you were called out on it.

Are you talking about people that are mostly black, and have other races mixed in? Because I am not. I am talking about Obama, touted as the first black president, who is just as much from the white race as he is from the black race.

In my opinion he is not the first back president, that is reserved for an actual majority black person that gets elected president.
Your opinion and a dollar and a half will get you a cup of coffee. In the United States, people self-identify as to race, within reason. If a person with a black parent identifies himself as "black", he's black, end of story.

    End of story.

Looks like you are the one that said something factually wrong, stupid to use your jargon, and you refuse to admit it and are, quite obviously, trying to twist the entire argument.

You know that I stated that Obama is as much white as he is black, you refused to accept that, because you so desperately want him to be just black, forget the white part. And you just can't bare to face the facts. You just make yourself look worse with every post.

So go ahead, take me to task, show me what I posted that was wrong, not the twists and turns that you are trying to attribute to me.

To those who question if President Obama is black because he has a white mother, that's just asinine in my view. Your entire ancestry is part of who you are and your heritage. My family traces back to English, Irish and French - perhaps why we fight so much - but all of it is part of all of us. It's petty to claim Obama isn't the first black President.

Perhaps the people in Ferguson, Missouri could take a cue from the people who marched to Selma, Alabama 50 years ago, in peace and harmony, with love in their hearts and no weapons in their hands or hate on their agenda. They might find some compromise and solutions if they did.
    Great post CJ !!!!!

I did no such thing, but if you can go ahead an quote my egregious and fallacious posts.

You know that I stated that Obama is as much white as he is black, you refused to accept that, because you so desperately want him to be just black, forget the white part. And you just can't bare to face the facts. You just make yourself look worse with every post.
Again I said no such thing - "I want obama to only be black", quote me on that.

I already did take you to task.

I mean just look at the transformation. You went from bemoaning liberals to being a conservative cowering behind deflections. Good luck trying to make me look bad, but from my vantage point that person is you.
