Former CIA Head David Petraeus to Plead Guilty.....

He's a good man caught in a compromising situation of his own making. Sad. However, he'll do the right thing in the end here. I think we can count on that. I do. I am confident that certain oaths he took aren't taken lightly.

I can't say Petraeus will testify, either. I just don't think the ruling will escape Gowdy's notice - not by a long shot. It is interesting intrigue though, either way. There's a book in this for some enterprising author.

I believe the thinking was that if it's not discoverable, we can make it whatever we want it to be. So a terrorist attack could be the reaction to a video, or even a reaction to bad food the US sent as aid. Who knows? Well, now we're beginning to get the idea that maybe no one wanted to be held accountable for anything that might have happened because once you set that little stone in motion, who knows what might happen? This is State's policy of crash and burn and let's get 'er done on the fly smart power gone awry, and nobody, but nobody wants to take credit for it when it goes wrong. I can tell you from experience you will never convince these people that they are wrong. They believe, truly, that they are smarter, and they'll go to their graves believing that in face of all evidence to the contrary. It's all optics and style and the media message over substance because that's what brought them to power. Huge, truly monumentally huge egos are in play here.

Well with Hillary she was trying to be slick.....thinking if she kept everything personal that she wouldn't have to disclose unless it was by her discretion.

So you're just asking questions, not actually trying to make a case that prosecuting Petraeus is a "strike" at the GOP?
Sometimes, questions are meant as statements. These sorts of questions are called rhetorical questions.
It seemed possible that you were using your questions to make statements.

You were just asking the DP for our collective wisdom.

Well to be honest I did hear some conservatives talking and they thought it was a slight to the GOP. That was on Salem Broadcasting.....when Dennis Miller was on. Which is why I wanted to ask people here and what they thought.

No I am denying the other part of that statement you made up and didnt have a clue about. Which was the Dennis Miller Show talking about the subject of could this be more than just Petraeus giving Classified Info to his Mistress who had a security clearance.

Oh, so because they discuss the subject live on radio and they bring up all that was involved with the issue....you think that's the answer. Well really you shouldn't put that limitation of yours on display.

Really? I mean really MMC? A general being prosecuted for giving classified information to his mistress, who wasn't authorized to have it, must be an Obama revenge conspiracy? Weren't you screaming for Snowden's head just a few months ago? They're clearly not the same case, but this is business as usual and would happen with just about any president.

Heya RA. :2wave: Well that's what they were asking. He could have been hooked up for lying to the Feds too.

Do you think with all the military Top Ranking Officials that have been charged under BO peep. People wouldn't ask such a question?
