And even if we were, spurious Internet allegations of Boko Haram and ISIL cannibalism do not, in any way, to a rational mind, equate to a "well known" commingling of cannibalism and radical Islam.

But a "well known" understanding of it?

A) You don't strike me as either a scholar our a refugee of radical Islam's atrocities.

B) disliking crappy journalism isn't the same as liking ISIS. The two are not mutually exclusive, something that I'd expect a scholar to know.

I haven't made up my mind about the information, but I have made up my mind that the story as published was of very poor journalistic quality which gives me reason to be suspect of the information it includes.

Tabloids sometimes tell the truth. Just ask John Edwards and Rielle Hunter. The National Enqurier was the one who broke that story.

I hope the story isn't true - I mean the part about them serving the woman her son. That sounds like a horrible Vincent Price movie.

If, as you suggest, this knowledge is so ubiquitous that the rest of us are idiot morons for not knowing it, then it should be very simple and easy to produce. You saying things are true over and over does not make anything true.

Frankly, with the ease with which you have bought this story hook line and sinker I suspect it's about made up as Obama's abilities

I recall just a day or so ago someone beginning a thread on Hillary Clinton's e-mail account and the source being discredited simply because it was the odious Gawker. By this morning, the NY Times was weighing in. In this insta-info age, you just never know. ;)

Linda Tripp, from northern Virginia, broke the Bill and Monica scandal. She didn't belong to any magazine, she was a government employee.
