    Live long and prosper.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.

    That's highly illogical...

I too am curious. I think much of the ill will towards Shatner is due to his past pompous behavior. For instance, he was strongly opposed to Takei taking the role as Captain of the Enterprise that caused a lot of bitter feelings. But more importantly, there was the fact that Shatner didn't attend the funeral for the creator of Star Trek (name escapes me at the moment).

    Gene Roddenberry.

*Gina-nerd Trekkie in her youth, still have my Spock action figure (along with others) in a treasure box*

The fourth movie, The Voyage Home, Spock's use of "colorful metaphors" was a crack up.

    He replaced Martin Landau.

Hmmm. With Rollin Hand we also got Cinnamon. For me, that tips the scale in Landau's direction.

R.I.P. Leonard. Mr. Spock is my all time favorite Star Trek character.
