Hadn't heard that claim. And what's wrong with you that you would deny a Western motive to destabilize Russia? It's already being done overtly.

So, it is just an unsubstantiated opinion then?

Yet they sound so certain, look:

The argument seemed to be as if it is a done deal that the motives and capability between Russia and USA/EU/Ukraine to kill this person are equal. Now it is only a matter picking sides!

Yet when asked to support such ridiculous claims nothing but pure opinion comes out. Good thing that opinion is easily refuted.

Russia Says Security Cameras Weren't Pointing at Nemtsov Shooting But Blogger's Photo Suggests They Were

    March 2,2015

"Of course the federal protection service is lying when it says that not one security camera filmed the moment of the murder because they were directed at the Kremlin," Aleshkovsky wrote on his Facebook account. "I deliberately took this photo from the bridge on the night of Nemtsov's murder. And I asked other photographers to do the same The camera on the Beklemishevskaya tower was pointed DIRECTLY at the place of the murder."

It is likely that this guy was under 24/7 FSB surveillance due to his political predispositions and the fact he was due to headline anti war protest march the following day. That he could have been killed without anyone seeing it happen in the area of the Kremlin of all places is laughable

The not-so-simple murder of Boris Nemtsov
Vladimir Putin had little reason to have Boris Nemtsov killed, let alone at the Kremlin's doorstep.

The not-so-simple murder of Boris Nemtsov - Al Jazeera English

One must go to "real news" for any logic on this. Patronizing Westerners with a bent on demonizing Putin are inept of such critical thinking.

Here's a question for you to chew on: Why would Russian President Vladimir Putin, who enjoys a popularity rating of around 80 percent at the moment, want to get rid of a fading opposition politician, Boris Nemtsov, who hardly registers on the public radar?
And what would be the logic of having him assassinated less than half a mile away from the Kremlin walls? Wouldn't it be asking for trouble, considering that Russia's relations with the West are at their lowest point since the Cold War over the crisis in Ukraine?

Yes but one can invoke the balance of probabilities based on Putins track record and the probable circumstances in which the victim found himself in when he was killed.

One can therefore make a balanced judgement based on common sense. I realise you might have some difficulties in this area

Putin may be mad – but not mad enough to have had Boris Nemtsov killed
