CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218, 239]

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

Personally, I think you are attempting to pass B.S.

I guess you'll have to come from behind your Hasbara Handbook & see for yourself to know for sure.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

Netanyahu's Circus seemed to backfire in spite of his trotting out Eli Weasel instead of his dog eared "Acme Bomb" Cartoon.
Nancy Pelosi cited Netanyahu as "Insulting" Americans as he offered no alternatives to negotiations except bombing.

The only tangible result was more American opposition to Netanyahu & a 5% jump in the polls for Obama at this point.

“Americans Rally Around The President As Obama Approval Jumps 5 Points Thanks To Netanyahu”

EXCERPT “Since Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu arrived in the U.S., President Obama’s approval rating has increased by 5 points in the Gallup poll.”CONTINUED

LMAO. OK, whatever you say.
Yep, it is "whatever I say" because it's the truth and you obviously have no refutation with this brilliant retort of yours.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

 My sentiments exactly! But, let him dream a little longer! Walker's temporary walk in the sun is reminiscent of the last presidential election starring Republicans Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum. For a brief moment, the far right-wing of the Republican base had each of them dreaming they might reach the White House. It was sheer entertainment! I've already orders mounds of popcorn for this next bunch of star-struck wannabes!

The Republican Party is so short on talent that they can only draw their presidents from one family!

You know you've won an argument with an "Israel Firster" when they howl "Anti Semite"; the "White Flag" of debate.
The only other card is the "Right" of the most powerfully armed, heavily subsidized Army of Occupation to "Defend itself" against the persecuted & targeted Inmates of the World's largest Open Air Shooting Gallery & Weapon's Testing Ground:

“The Lab”: Israel Tests Weapons, Tactics On Captive Palestinian Population”
WRMEA |
EXCERPT “The reason is that there are massive profits to be made from testing Israeli military innovations on the more than four million Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.”CONTINUED

The majority of American Jews oppose Israel's bellicose, Right Wing War mongers who continue to enforce Plan Dalet & Israeli expansionism

“U.S. Jewish Leader Henry Siegman to Israel: Stop Killing Palestinians and End the Occupation”

“American Jews are giving up on Israel”

EXCERPT “Just 10 percent of American-Jewish voters said Israel was their highest priority when they went to the polls, according to a recent exit poll conducted by the pro-peace Israel lobby J Street. So, the Israeli government currently funds a Multi Million dollar Propaganda Industry with Top Dollar PR Instructors, Hasbara Fellowships & Hasbara Scholarships using "Megaphone" software to give the illusion of a greater number.

Remember: You're either an "Anti semite" or a "Self Hating Jew" if you don't support every Israeli crime

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

They see it in the media/pop culture as well. Those that see through it are called traitors to their race and uncle toms by white leftists.

"Those that see through it" - hilarious. It's a mystery why the GOP hasn't won over more Jews and minorities with their strategy of "if you were smart enough to know what's good for you, you'd vote for us!"

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

The only way that Scott Walker will ever see the inside of the White House is as a guest.

Wait and see.
So far your predictions are nearly all wrong. How is blotto world?

Man you are just a plethora of far left links aren't you? And I bet you love to call others the partisan ones...

You made an insane allegation (you called me a racist, boooo hoooo......:baby1), and it got the reasoned response it deserves. But I'll put it this way - if you want accuse me of playing the race card based on nothing, I'm not interested in playing in that game.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

Right! Israel 'was" a good friend but now they are being abandoned for the new best friends in the area..In fact Obama has lost many traditional allies in this brave new world he has created.

As Jeb Bush said the other day "...we have even alienated the Canadians, and that's hard to do."

I don't agree with much of what Jeb stands for but he's right on both counts. I have not seen as sour relations between Ottawa and Washington since the Nixon-Trudeau era, even accounting for Bush 43 who raped this country's forest industry for 10,000 permanent jobs.

You cannot lie again and again, switch policies in mid stream without notice and expect your friends to remain friends

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

The Republican Party is so short on talent that they can only draw their presidents from one family!

 Now isn't that the absolute truth! The Republican Party honestly do not have any proper decent people with high principles, to put up, and the one family they chose from tend to be defective, even beginning with Bush senior. I listened to Jeb Bush nervously give his first speech and he does so resemble his older brother, W, in mannerism. Jeb doesn't poll too well either. In a way, I do feel somewhat sorry for those candidates in the GOP primary. Those seeking to get the Republican nomination tend to go through all sorts of partisan hoops to please the Tea Party only to find mainstream America will reject them hands down.

I predicted that Obama would beat Romney.

Who's living in the White House right now and who's playing with his car elevator?

Just for the record: Scott Walker will not be moving into the White House in 2017.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

Well, let's say the current branch of Republicans led by Ted Cruz etc underscores this perception. I simply cannot think of anything else to describe you except "clansmen" dressed up in suits as opposed to white sheets.

Yes, we all know white supremacy groups are big on hispanics (in this case), dont we?

Part of the lefts problem is they demonize everyone they disagree with, its more emotional than logical. Dont like the ACA or Obama? You must be a racist/sexist/bigot/homophobe. Still, if nothing else its predictable.

Cite one example where I have.

-----

The topic has to do with Netanyahu trying to deceive Americans into fighting another disastrous war for nuclear armed Israel's "Security" while there are too many unknown factors from involvement by neighboring countries & we should have learned from Iraq:

“Quietly lobbying Congress to approve the use of force in Iraq was one of AIPAC’s successes over the past year”
AIPAC Executive Director Howard Kohr; N.Y. Sun; Jan. ’03

My "Leftist sin" is that I happen to care about the thousands of US G.I.s & innocent civilians who would die as a result of Netanyahu's cataclysmic War, that radioactive dust that knows no borders etc etc.

Regardless or "Left" or "Right", the reality is that Iran has attacked no one in 300 years & has no reason to start now.

"One of the most horrible features of war is that all the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are NOT fighting."

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

It's far more common for righties to pre-emptively accuse people of "playing the race card" when it's never mentioned.

Sorry...Kobie.....that is simply not true.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

What is that even supposed to mean? The accusation I was responding to was the absurd notion that liberals are rabid anti-semites. I am merely pointing out that over 80% of the world's Jews live in either the United States or Israel. Of the Jews in the United States, an average of 80% or more consistently vote Democrat. Moreover, arguably at least half the Jews in Israel are liberal going from the parties they support (its a parliament, conservatives when they win simply win a plurality there not a clear majority). Most likely 75% or more of the world's Jews are liberal. So its a pretty absurd notion that leftists are "rabid anti-semites" when the majority of Jews are leftists. Just because someone has a different of opinion with the current ruling party in Israel does not mean they are anti-semites. If it did, then half the Jewish population of Israel would be anti-semites.

Finally, Antisemitism has historically had a much stronger history with the far right than with the left.

Nice try, however it is not just about disagreements with present Israeli policy. Liberals in general have been siding with repugnant radical Islamic terrorist groups, over Israel in any conflict for decades.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

I would describe it as political spite....one-upmanship. As for Iran, what's so wrong with letting diplomacy run its course?

Easy. Any diplomacy that doesn't involve bombing raids on nations that never attacked us is automatically weak-kneed appeasement.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

I'm a liberal who thinks it's time for America to stop letting its foreign policy by dictated by another nation. A lot of conservatives and some Democrats seem to think that our foreign policy should be whatever Bibi says. I don't. And no, that doesn't make me a Jew-hater.

Israel was a good friend and important strategic partner during the Cold War. In turn, we provided vital assistance to them during their struggle for existence. But it's absurd for us to continue to support them when they insist on a bull-headed and ultimately doomed policy of continuing to build on the West Bank. Few civilized nations in the world support Israel, and its because of the stupidity and blindness of their policies. Blaming this lack of support on anti-Jewish sentiment is merely a convenient canard.

A lot of conservatives, by the way, only support Israel because of some crazy Biblical theories about the Second Coming and all that. Blithering nonsense.

Not all conservatives are out of their minds with regards to Israel, though. Here's a good article from The American Conservative: The Disgraceful Spectacle in Congress | The American Conservative

God Bless the great state of Israel. I have always supported them whether they have been under liberal or conservative leadership.....and without regard to any biblical theories, sport.

Do tell us specifically which ones who are still alive jumped to the republican party? The segregation era ended in the 1970s. Ofcourse most of them are dead. What you don't want to hear is that the majority of them either remained in the democrat party or jumped to the dixiecrat party. And the worst of them Senator Robert Byrd, a former grand Cyclops and kleagle of the klan remained a democrat until they put him in the ground. And nearly to the end, he remained in the Senate even when he had to be diapered and pushed in a wheelchair into the capitol dome to vote.

The fact is the majority of Jews are liberals. Jews vote Democrat more consistently than any other demographic other than African Americans. By your reasoning they do so because they are too stupid to know better rather than because of their personal ideals.

Tell me....do the democrats treat the jews who do not vote democrat the same as they treat the African Americans who vote conservative?

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

The only way that Scott Walker will ever see the inside of the White House is as a guest.

Wait and see.

Much the same was suggested about both Reagan and Bush (W). I will put it bluntly sport. Despite your corny overconfidence, you do not have any inside track on who has the best chances in either party to get into the white house in 2016. I am still laughing about the liberal overconfidence concerning the 2010 and 2014 midterm elections.

You don't even have a coherent political compass. There is no far right-wing of the republican party. There are the mainstream conservatives and the RINOs. Far right wing in the republican party ended over 6 decades ago. The modern liberal merely labels anyone with any conservative stance at all as a far right winger.

Nancy Pelosi is a geriatric bimbo. And only wishful thinking liberals take a gallup poll seriously barely past a day after Bibi's speech to congress.

Conservatives are not the ones using terms like "uncle tom", "aunt jemima", "traitor", "strawberry" etc to label African Americans who do not toe the democrat party line.
