CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218, 239]

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

A remarkable insight!! You now have a stock answer for any political debate which may arise, national or international.

Ask a silly question..... You say the issues are too important to be left in Obama's hands, but they ARE IN HIS HANDS, at least in part. It's how our system works. Not sure what else to say.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

Because why? Because Obama is the head of state and is the person conducting foreign policy on behalf of the U.S., and Israel needs the U.S. and therefore Obama in their corner. The other option is 2/3 of the Congress.

It is Israel's existence that is in jeopardy if out idiot president's deal with Iran goes through.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

We're gonna win!

It's like a high school football game. The cheerleaders have to keep spirits high even when its a 6 - 0 hockey game with two minutes left.

Check back to last November, right up till election day "Obama will gain in the Senate and get back the house!'

Has anyone asked these predictors exactly HOW Obama's democrats or any of them, will win it all back?

Who will be the one to run against the Republicans with Obama's record of disaster? Hillary?

Yeah, we will have Obama around for two years....and so will the American people. And by the time the Dems go looking for a sacrificial lamb, the Republicans will have a truckload of job creating bills that have been vetoed by the man who has "enemies".

And hopefully a viable GOP nominee for president...such as Scott Walker.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

Name one person in the GOP who has a reasonable chance to win in 2016.

BTW: Obamacare, AKA the Affordable Care Act, is still in business despite numerous failed attempts by the GOP to do away with it.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time, GOP.

Scott Walker.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

The "Majority of American's" especially those under age 30 don't even know who the VP is, so there's that.. ;)

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

Yeah, well, I know you don't like it but Obama is the POTUS, and it's Obama and his delegates who ARE conducting foreign policy on our behalf, whether you agree with it or not.

This idiot POTUS is not conducting foreign policy on my behalf.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

LOL. Saying you don't like Obama on a personal level (which wasn't said) is "just a backdoor way of calling you racist"? That's absurd.

It's very common for the left to bring up race over simple criticism of Obama's policies. You cannot deny that unless you have been Rip Van Winkle for the last 6 years.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

You have your own POTUS? How you manage that???!!! You must also have your own Commander in Chief, too!

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

Why anyone listens to Netanyahu on Iran is a mystery. He has been saying that Iran has been 0-to-3 years away from a nuclear weapon for 20 years.

Actually only for about the last 7 to 10 years....and he has been correct. Keep in mind that Mossad and the Stuxnet virus have delayed them to a point.

Assuming that's true, I didn't call anyone a racist and it's certainly not common for me to sling the racist card at anyone. I think it's almost always counterproductive, and it will nearly always end any hope of rational debate, so I can't say I've never done it, but I can't remember calling anyone on here a racist.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

The bigger problem is the right wingers who still aren't taking responsibility for dumbya's disaster in the ME.

You mean the war that Bill, Hillary, Pelosi, Kerry, Biden, Gore, Allbright, and many more pushed years before Bush ever assumed office?

I did not vote for the moron. He is not representing me. I certainly do not claim him as my leader.

It is true, however thankfully it does not infect all liberals. The liberals who do play the race card over simple criticism of Obama are intellectual cowards.

Right, they are not completely in his hands, as you say. The Senate has a say and Congress has a say. The Supreme Court also has a say. Therefore your original post was pointless.

Everyone should support their Senate and Congress to remove as much power as is possible from this dangerous President and having the Israeli PM speak is only a very minor first step. That the President and his sycophants are making such a big deal of this speaks to their amateur approach to international politics and how a minor leaguer like Barrack Obama has made it all petty and personal.

And these coming-of-age Gruberites naturally tend to vote for the Democrats, especially if endorsed by celebrities.

Poor, little Israel’s existence is not now & has never been in danger or else it would not have started at least 4 wars, illegally expanded its borders and repeatedly attacked its neighbors with impunity.

Who do you think is going to be “in danger” if Israel’s ruling Right Wingers succeed in dragging the U.S. into another war for their "Greater Israel" Oded Yinon Plan?

Governor walker is going to have to lose the rookie thing if he wants to have a hope. He has a problem with running his mouth.

He does not look like national material right now, he will need to pro up.

Re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

You misread the post - I said you don't like it that Obama is POTUS (I'm assuming you voted for someone else, which seems like a safe bet), not that you didn't "like" the POTUS personally. And if I'd intended to call you a racist I'd have done so directly.

I'm a conservative, am I supposed to like it that a demo is POTUS? Did you like it when Bush was POTUS? What a weaselly way to deny what it is, a veiled way to call me a racist.

There is the danger of him trying to be something he isn't, which is a forceful dynamic speaker. Try that too often, rather than just being sincere, will wear thin quickly.

Doesn't matter whether you "claim him" or not - he represents you same as W. represented me.

interesting on its own

perhaps even more interesting.

When looking at these two in concert,
Are we finally seeing a shift in the general populace with respect to our policies with Israel?

Still ashamed that Congress gave into Netanyahu's cheap election ploy.

Forty-eight percent of those surveyed said Boehner should have notified President Obama of his invitation first, according to the NBC News/Wall Street Journal survey, which was released on Sunday.
