CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218, 239]

re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

Suggest you learn how to read the crosstabs?

Are you telling me a sampling of 1,027 adults, 1/3 of which were African American, is in any way an accurate indication of "a majority of Americans"? Is that what you're telling me?

That's not what the polls said.

Lol, from your own link in the OP.

I suggest you re-READ that.

they added MORE AA samples afterwards, so they could later seek trends in racial groups. It has nothing to do with the initial sample of 1027.

This should be obvious to you. 733+309=1042, not 1027.

Oh gee, fifteen more people, one third of them still AA. That makes a world of difference. Oy vey. The point is, this poll is in no way indicative of "a majority of Americans". But you knew that when you posted this drivel.

swing and a miss again.

they initially surveyed 1027 people, some % of them were AA. They then wanted to see if AA vs "white" had similar opinions as groups. They didn't have enough AA initially to be statistically accurate. They added a lot more AA to do so.

There were not 309, or anything close to it, AA in the initial survey.
They conducted 172 extra interviews. That means there were 137 AA's in the initial survey. Seems perfectly acceptable. (pg 3 of the pdf)

Getting to the point, why did "independents" poll similarly to the "lwnjs" ?

Finally, please READ before wasting my time in the future.

CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite - CNN.com

interesting on its own

perhaps even more interesting.

When looking at these two in concert,
Are we finally seeing a shift in the general populace with respect to our policies with Israel?

Still ashamed that Congress gave into Netanyahu's cheap election ploy.

That's great! Think that will cause the trouble maker to stay home?

Because calling oneself an "independent" is a distinction without a difference. Again, what part of "it's a tiny sampling of Americans" do you not understand?

"The troublemaker"? Don't you mean, "teh Joo"?

What part of statistics and polling do you not understand?

Says the person who thinks a tiny sampling of libs is indicative of "a majority of Americans".

He doesn't do that. And it's because reading is a LWNJ conspiracy.

re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

it wasn't a "tiny sampling of libs"

smh

Of course it was. You know it, I know it, CNN knows it. ;)

re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

You mean, the majority of LWNJs oppose Netanyahu visit. Yeah, so ****ing what?

What an embarrassing comment. Why didn't you just say, "I didn't read the CNN poll"?

re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

citations needed

Ummm, it's a CNN poll. The citations are in your OP. Now, if you want to be gullible enough to believe that a tiny sampling of libs is indicative of "a majority of Americans", knock yerself out. Though I don't believe even you are that gullible.

I doubt anything could embarrass you and your ilk.

No, I meant that freak in the Knesset that thinks like John McCain does on Iran, despite the fact that Mossad has stated that Iran isn't building a nuclear weapon.

odd, since the citation I gave (and you just reinforced) show that it was NOT a sampling of "libs".
it was a sampling of americans across racial and political spectrum.

Suggest you actually-- shock-- READ the methodology. It seems like you'll need to do it 4 or 5 times though, before reality sinks in.

So is that your take on what the poll respondents said?

Doesn't take much for the Jew bashing to start.

No. Its Prime Minister bashing. Always a racist bent to you.

re: CNN/ORC poll: Majority of Americans oppose Netanyahu invite [W:218]

That line smells like crap... mostly because of where you pulled it from. Explain to us why Jews in America vote left then? You think they are all duped and/or are stupid?

You guys are so desperate.

Jews in america "vote left" for the simple fact they are leftist first, jews second.
