    Is that a trick question?

The obvious answer is because Netanyahu is the beggar in this relationship and has FAR more to lose if the superpower that is the U.S. abandons Bibi and/or the tiny nation of Israel than the reverse. And it's Obama and the WH diplomatic personnel who actually conduct U.S. foreign policy - not Boehner.

Travis007 tried to say that Obama visited Israel weeks before the 2008 election. I pointed out that wasn't true.

The Israeli Election is March 17th. Two weeks is not the same thing as 4.5 months.

Obama was simply pandering for Obama.... Bibi is here for the survival of the Jewish People and the Nation of Israel..

a bit of a difference and Bibi is the Prime Minister..

Oh, I think the Democrats and Obama have a lot to lose by abandoning Israel.

But I do appreciate your honest admission of the diplomacy at play in the pro-Obama camp. It's funny how the pro-Obama folks suddenly start sounding so incredibly imperialistic when they talk about Israel..

For Iran they are willing to address the supposed needs of the Iranian state (which are all lies), for Israel it is "HEEL! Fetch! Roll Over!".

I don't care when Obama visited. We're interfering in their elections today. Doesn't that bother you?

So, out of curiosity, what do you think Israel has to lose if it loses US support?

    interesting on its own

    perhaps even more interesting.

When looking at these two in concert,
Are we finally seeing a shift in the general populace with respect to our policies with Israel?

Still ashamed that Congress gave into Netanyahu's cheap election ploy.
I agree that it wasn't cool to invite him like that. Obama may be a anti-Israeli tool, but he's still the president of the United States.

Funny how the media didn't mention the polls when Obama vetoed the Keystone?
