I find it interesting that Obama used these words to describe Americans: "And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." However, he will not use the same, or similar terms to describe ISIS. He won't even say their name. The proper question is not whether Obama loves America or not, but whether he dislikes America or not. The effect of his presidential actions suggests the latter. That comment above was made in the mid-west concerning the lack of jobs. With the Keystone pipeline, Obama had an opportunity to address at least some of that employment problem in the very same area in which he made those remarks. He didn't. He refused.

He lost the midterms but hasn't changed a thing.

While elsewhere suggesting he would tear up the NAFTA accord, then telling Ottawa "it was just campaign rhetoric". He burned billions on a shoirt term jobs program where "shovel ready wasn't shovel ready, ha ha" but insists Keystone is garbage because there are, he claims, few "permanent" jobs, ignoring the fact Keystone will create ten times the number of temporary jobs as his entire "recovery"

The question is not whether he loves America, he clearly does not more than he loves himself. He is throwing a great country under the bus for the sake of his image.

Even though the economy was collapsing and millions of Americans were losing the jobs and their homes at this meeting the GOP promised to oppose all of Obama's economic policies. A mere eight days later Eric Cantor would hold the House Republicans to a unanimous no vote against the economic stimulus plan proposed by Obama.

The GOP deserves most of the blame for the toxic atmosphere that has engulfed DC.

I'd think we'd have evaluate their actions, and not their rhetoric...From what I see even today, and with a majority in both houses, Repubs are laying down to Obama's wishes.

You say you have to "acknowledge faults" before you can fix them. What faults has Obama created or do you still insist he is incapable of error?

Seems to me the closest he ha ever come to admitting even being close to a mistake is "it seems, ah....ha, ha, shovel ready wasn't so shovel ready....ha, ha.

The American voters denied him a majority in the house, and he did not change a thing, in fact upped the anti by deliberately antagonizing and now the country is facing two years of deadlock because he absolutely refuses to compromise or even negotiate....

He has "acknowledged" nothing, and as all alcoholics [as you have cited] know that fixing anything involves acknowledging you own faults first....before you arrogantly and ignorantly force others to conform to your will

Obama doesn't like the vast majority of Americans - he holds them in disdain. The sheer volume of his lies is enough evidence of that by itself.

The GOP has never liked the way Obama has gone, they disagree with his policies and judging by the last mid term so do many Americans.

Thats why they are there-to represent the republican view. BTW-Cantor was right-the stimulus was a bomb, merely a wealth redistribution scheme to get money to Obama's friends.
