Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America[W:649]

Re: Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

The last time G was a heavy hitter was when he was US A for NY.
Subsequently he just became a bitter vindictive douche.

Don't kid yourself about that. He was a viable GOP presidential candidate too. He is well liked in many circles on the right. And his invitation to this event was deliberate.

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

That is indubitably an opinion.

NOt really. every election that has been tracked, HS dropouts have favored Democrats

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

I think for a realistic assessment of this, check this study.

Polarization in American politics | Pew Research Center

Oh I am quite familiar with polling data having worked for the Roper poll in college. People who remain in academia tend to vote Dem because they are funded publicly so all those teachers "masters" generally support the Dems leading to a silly conclusion that those with "higher education" supporting Dems must mean "smarter" people favor welfare socialism

Actually, people hold ideologies. For the LIV, it's not all politics, or schooling.

I have to disagree. Way too many ghosts and skeletons in his closet, which more or less reduce him to being littel more than a high profile partisan hack.

There are a lot of hacks well liked in some circles.

You clearly misunderstand me. Giuliani WAS a viable GOP presidential candidate, and gained a lot of credit post 9/11. He's liked by many on the right, and this is why he was invited to Walker's New York outing. Nothing more.

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

Weaker nation, weaker economy, weaker border/more illegals, more regulations, less unity, Russia is in Ukraine, China took the islands in the Sea of Japan, Iran is close to getting the bomb, ISIS is on the War path along with all of the Jihadist getting more emboldened as this fools sits and gives speeches about the crusades and "“It's a 19th century act in the 21st century".

He is a fool, a stooge, or just a man who is doing everything in his power to harm America.

Please don't insult the Stooges, they were geniuses.

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

So do the most educated.

The most popular graduate degree in this country is a teaching masters. THe people who get them are generally not the cream of the crop of college students. Lawyers also support the Dems very strongly-even civil defense attorneys because the threat of lawsuits make them money. Those are the two most common advanced degrees. PhDs who mainly work in academic arenas which are dependent on government grants are also heavily leftist. The ivory tower appeals to the utopianistic pillow headed views of welfare socialists as well

People in private industry with MBAs, advanced engineering degrees or MDs are far more likely to support the GOP. what it comes down to is not "does education make you more liable to vote one way" but more-is a certain strata more likely to have government jobs or private sector jobs.

drop outs and the groups with the least amount of education culturally have always been supporters of the Democrats

Rudy Giuliani: President Obama doesn’t love America

What's to like?

Obama was caught in an uncharacteristic moment of loose language. Referring to working-class voters in old industrial towns decimated by job losses, the presidential hopeful said:

"They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

Greetings, Mo. :2wave:

Nothing like a good insult to try and raise people's hackles, is there? It didn't matter then, and it doesn't matter now, and even though the media tried to make something of it, most people just figured it was a politician talking and just chalked it up to ignorance. It's similar to calling Republicans his "enemies," just because they aren't "cooperative" in giving him everything he wants, bless his heart! You gotta love it!

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

As are the most educated by the way.

already explained. people with teachers masters aren't exactly the brightest bulbs in the socket

Re: Giuliani, what a freak

And full of people that voted for stupid people.

yeah but I have never said Obama is stupid. He's smarter than McCain Not smarter than Mitt

Having it both ways doesn't work unless you are buying your own bs counselor.

I'm not impressed with Mittens' intellect. Funny underwear and all.
