He was obviously trying to appeal to the racist elements of the right wing. It roughly translates to "he wasn't born here, he is a Kenyan, Muslim, socialist trying to destroy America from the inside-out."
Yeah. Sure. Because the right wing doesn't divide the world by ideas, like the left wing world does. No, they divide the world by identity groups, unlike the left.

I hear he's also shaved all his hair and gone bald. Clearly he's messaging the skinhead populace, trying to let them know with visual dog whistles that he's "one of them".

I don't think it was overtly racist; however, I don't think it's plausibly deniable that the GOP has tried to portray Obama as some shadowy other who's just not like us, in part because of his unconventional upbringing.
Freedom of speech is not freedom from criticism.

If Rafael Edward Cruz runs for president let's see if the right and the Tea Party cares that he was born in Canada and his father fought for Fidel Castro.

    I doubt they will.

He has a record now... a very public one, and I think it's clear. He's a raging partisan who was raised by and who associated with people who do not like this country.

You do not fundamentally want to change something you love.
Exactly. You can promise to govern better the country you love but not to "Change" it. The fact that he felt he represented "Hope" for America also suggested the country was in short supply in that area, when American optimism had always played a large part in the country's character.

This anti American conspiracy theory pokes its head up every few years and is debunked each time. You seem to be seeking out derision.

So you too think that FDR was doing nothing provocative to Japan and they just decide to invite the US to war with them so that there aggressions in Asia wouldn't be so easy for them? Ok

    I understand your basement theories.

Japan attacking Pearl Harbor was America's fault and Terrorists attacking the WTC on 9/11 was America's fault. These stale theories of yours are not worthy of discussion.

Yeah, I knew that answering that question would compromise your position and small view. So why do you keep addressing me, if it's not worthy of discussion, hmm?

Because you represent a poorly educated underclass who has been taught, somewhere, that the source of the world's problems can somehow be traced back to the United States. You are less a person to me than a symptom..
