    Re: Giuliani, what a freak

remember reverend wright, his preacher/mentor? remember his "God D@mn America!!!!!" speech?

remember his wife: the first time she was proud of America was when it elected her husband

Does that make Giuliani right? no. Does it mean he could build a strong case questioning Obama's love of America COMPARED to EVERY OTHER president?....absolutely. I think his speeches and actions would put on dead last on the list of presidential patriotism(some, like a Kennedy or a Reagan, are galaxies ahead of him on that list).

still, not a smart move on his part. it's like the third rail of political accusations. don't touch

Never ceases to amaze me how people consistently bring up Reverend Wright and one out-of-context from Michelle Obama -- two people who are not Barack Obama -- as evidence of how awful Barack Obama is.

You must be really horrified at the OP for trying to tie Scott Walker to Rudy Giuliani then. At least Obama has a relationship with those 2 people; one is his self-described "moral compass" and the other is his wife. Walker was just in the room.

Being a bad politician does not make him an America hater.

I don't agree with trying to tie Walker to Giuliani's comments; then again, I'm also not the OP.

Oh, I guess I missed your posted outrage about the OP making a few dozen posts in this thread trying to tie Walker to Giuliani.

Obviously you miss the point. If you want to argue that we should have provoked Japan, or that we needed to prevent them from encroaching upon the South Pacific resources that we were exploiting, fine. But that's a different argument. What you can't do, is deny that FDR was provoking a Japanese attack to turn the American opposition to our involvement in another war, see?

Which is a very good point, and something that they wouldn't allow of a republican politician.
