Obama refuses to acknowledge ‘Muslim terrorists’ at summit

He just tried to lecture the world.....and now is looking like a major fool. Note how the fool still sticks to the term ISIL. Why everybody else in the World calls them what they are.

Blaming poverty while he points out how Billions in poverty don't ever cross the line into violence.

So basically what we have here.....is BO peep trying to appear like he doing something to combat the problem. While BO Peep talks confusingly to the rest of the world.....and showing the American People he will not be truthful and cannot be trusted.

Now this is a pretty accurate assessment of what Obama's doing here. Obama, being driven by is excessive PC (un)sensibilities, denies the fact that the Militant Islamic Fundamentalists of ISIS / ISIL are in fact justifying their actions as being dictated by their interpretation of the Islamic religion.

Factually, there are passages in the Koran that incite those with a fundamentalist interpretation of the writings to go and kill all non-Muslims, or so I am told (I've not read it and don't plan to). Further, it's been correctly observed that Muslims that don't observe these citations to murderous action, aren't 100% compliant to their own religious beliefs and their own religious doctrine. I'd be interested in how those that don't explain this away, the mental rationalization gymnastics would humorous to see.

I see this as a fine example of how excessive PC (un)sensibilities can easily, and more often than not, put you into a logical corner of inconsistencies, seriously degrading any credibility in the eyes of any critically thinking person.

Given this summary, I think it pretty clear that Islam most certainly is not a religion of peace in its writing and foundational documents and doctrine, however, I don't think the world would any problem with any Muslims that don't observe the Koran's citations to murderous action; and see this as the only avenue to peaceful co-existence with the rest of the world. So, I guess all the Imams that are denouncing their militant fundamentalist brethren, are, at the same time, denouncing those citations to murderous action in their own religion. No wonder it's taken them this long to do so, and as tepid their denunciations. The cognitive conflict within them on this point surely must be massive.

Threads like this is proof that the average American IQ is declining. I would bet my house that 90 percent of the anti-Islam crowd has never read or research the Muslim faith.

In light of all the media coverage, what would you like the anti-Islam crowd to know? Most Americans get their information from the TV and not necessarily a TV based news source.

You and the Obama administration know those people better than they know themselves. They're not Muslim? They aren't terrorizing and murdering innocent people because they are infidels. They aren't fighting for their religion to take over the world. Their actions have nothing to do with their religious beliefs?

What PC insight.

I will give Obama one thing, he's smarter than his ardent followers. He got you guys to believe it.

No idea what you're talking about and it sounds as though you don't either. What ISIL is doing is not representative of Islam or being a devout Muslim. Obama is a self professed Christian, but he authorized drone strikes against civilian populations. He carried on Bush's work at Abu Ghraib.

What books force you to kill people?

It's not what I would like them to know. It's what they should know before condemning a whole religion as evil.

Your point was that average anti-Islam person has not read or researched the religion. I then asked what would you like them to know. You then say it isn't what you want them to know, but it what they should know before condemning the whole religion.

I would say you want them to know that not all of Islam is evil. Is that correct?

You'd retain your house.

They do drag them around behind trucks though, and murder them from time to time.

Link to christian group behind this.

That it happens at all is unacceptable. It just shows that extremist Christians are not unwilling to act.

left wingers loot stores, throw rocks, and plant bombs, how is this different if the left wing is "unwilling to act"?

we were talking about christian vs muslim attacks, your liberal "I hate america" clap trap is rather irrelevant.

You listed everything the US was ever involved in as a war crime. I can't, nor have interest in discussing such extremist partisanism and anti-american propagandaness.

Not one of these was done "in the name of god".

Lol, you thought that list was exhaustive!! And that didn't cover the covert hostilities conducted by our CIA.

Mornin EB.:2wave: Christianity was forced to clean up their own Heretics. It should be no different for those that allegedly lead this one.

I think you should spend some time on the link and far more time on the historical record. Perhaps the whole "One Nation Under God" thing was missed after all these years.

Right, perhaps you can talk about the topic, not your prejudices.

It's a stupid red herring. Why are we incapable of talking about the coming storm?

I would prefer an emphasis on prevention, don't you know. When something's not working, stop repeating it over and over and over! You know what "they" say about that.

Your point was that average anti-Islam person has not read or researched the religion. I then asked what would you like them to know. You then say it isn't what you want them to know, but it what they should know before condemning the whole religion.

I would say you want them to know that not all of Islam is evil. Is that correct?

Sorry for being vague but yes you are correct. My point is that this should be a common practice for anyone. That is why there is so much hatred in our country now. The media is telling us how to think instead of actually researching. They (the media) have made billions off of this.

Let me add that I am not Muslim by faith. I am Christian. Even though I do not agree them on a spiritual level. I know that they as a whole are not evil.
