Ferguson Police Could Face Federal Lawsuit

Ferguson acted in an appropriate manner, according to the GJ, so why should they have to pay anything? If Holder wants to "punish" them, if that is indeed his goal, then the money should have to come out of his budget! Most of the people of Ferguson are not wealthy, so why should they have the burden of paying for one man's vendetta against perceived injustice? Talk about cutting off a nose to spite a face - hurting people you claim to want to help!

Well, isn't that the liberal / progressive / Democratic way? Just have to look at the aftermath of the 'war on poverty' and how much more poverty it actually created.

Well, I guess that all comes with how he views his role in his present position, as an 'Activist Attorney General'.

I'd have to disagree. The only systemic racial bias is the one where minorities, particularly African-Americans, commit the most crime per their population segment, and are most often caught at it.

Now I agree that there's something drastically wrong and socially maladaptive in the black communities and lac families, how or why else would the above be the result?

Oh well if the white nationalist publication says blacks are inferior people then I guess that settles it.

What brought you to that particular website?

Think it probably more relevant to the discussion that the man who wrote that is a self identified liberal, in what's know to be role that draws liberals (so it's not a stretch), with real life experiences of criminal justice system and his typical clients. Seems the man's observations do tie back to recurring and continuing social and family value issues in black communities, acknowledged particularly knotty and difficult to solve problems, especially so from outside the community, rather than inside the community.

No, I'm not saying that everyone's as he describes, but clearly seems reasonable to assume that it's more so than not, and the article does provide a not often heard from perspective of the matter.

Take it for what you will.
