I didn't pull the results from a conspiracy site. Whether you agree or not, the poll numbers from Gallup point to Americans growing increasingly wary of both Russia and Putin. Rightfully so IMHO.

Not surprising at all. Americans are indeed keeping abreast of Russian military expansionism in Europe and Putin's dishonesty and manipulations.

There's also polls that reveal that Americans are growing tired of US foreign Policy, period, not just when democrats advance it, not just when republicans advance it but period. We don't want what you're lobbying for, hear?

Yes I know, because if it reveals that the US is culpable, its conspiracy, all the while you peddle your conspiracies about Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, China, Russia, and whoever else your bigoted and hate filled mind takes a disliking to.

The only thing I lobby for is that a nuclear-armed Russia leave Ukraine alone. I would greatly prefer a diplomatic solution, but Putin isn't interested.

I certainly don't seek a US/Russia military confrontation. I have supported both diplomatic peace initiatives regarding Ukraine ... Minsk I and Minsk II.

But as is evident with the Debaltseve cauldron, Putin isn't all that interested in a diplomatic solution.

How the EU and US governments respond is up to neither you nor me.

whether i support the US getting involved is. and i don't. trying to mess up Russia's economy was a mistake, as well. it was a "doing something" half measure, with which the road to hell is paved.

Russia's economy is cratering due to the plunge in oil prices, not the tepid sanctions. If the EU/US really wanted to hurt Russia badly, they would impose a SWIFT ban. But that coup de grāce hasn't happened.

Of course, but that's because you refuse to accept any responsibility of Western intrigue in Ukraine, and insist, and here's the rub, you insist that a Western response to Russia's response is a demand for a withdrawal from Crimea and a withdrawal of support for separatists in the East. And apparently by whatever pressure and means necessary. While there are those who are prepared to concede Crimea and some sort of compromise in the East in lieu of risking hostilities with Russia extending beyond the present scope. And as I showed you, Americans are growing increasingly weary of provocative, confrontational and military engagement in our foreign policy.
