As I pointed out, who was keeping track of the numbers of people killed by the British empire during the dark days of their colonisation of the WORLD!!!!?????
Killing one person is murder, killing 100,000 is foreign policy

Furthermore; Hiroshima and Nagasaki were a drop in the bucket compared to the atrocities of the Japanese perpetrated across Asia and the Pacific, the flag of the rising sun is seen throughout the Pacific and Asia as the Swastika is seen in the West.
Regardless of your justification of those two bombings, of civilian targets. No WW11 despot killed as many people in the moments that those two bombs did. And if you can justify those travesties, then I suppose anybody can justify anything anytime.

As the separatists living in East Ukraine have a more credible opinion of things there than you do.

Because accepting responsibility is so un American, I know. I remember Obama being attacked and called un-American for daring to apologise to the Muslim world for past US aggressions when giving a speech in Egypt. Yes it's more manly and patriotic to deny and remain belligerent.

Rather comical that Inhofe would show pictures of tanks from 2008 in Ossetia and claim that they were from now in Ukraine, but then many comical things happen in the US Congress.

Of course they can be justified. Operation 'Coronet' the planned amphibious landings in Japan was going to cost a estimated 750,000 American lives and 3 - 5 million Japanese both civilian and military based on the US experiences on Okinawa. The bombs ended the need for such a bloody campaign. I know Paul Tibbets who flew the B29 Enola Gay on that fateful morning over Hiroshima said he never lost a nights sleep over what he did because of the far greater potential number of lives he knew were saved by it.

And I'm sure the Japanese had justification for their attack on PH. And I'm sure the Germans justified all the night bombing raids on London that hadn't a lot of military advantage.....................

They too may have a more credible opinion than triple D if he's right in what he said.

There is no moral equivalence whatsoever !

Are you seriously siding with the Germans here ?
