Copenhagen shootings: Police kill 'gunman' after two attacks

Much of that thread seems prescient. Although it's not reflected in the media the Danes are getting fed up with whats happening as are the Swedes. Sweden: Rape Capital of the West

Can people seriously believe that these killings and threats can go on for three, five, ten or twenty years without some response from those who's way of life are being drastically altered? Give credit to Norway for taking action to solve their problems. IS ANYBODY SURPRISED? NORWAY DEPORTS MUSLIMS, CRIME RATE DROPS 31%

and they did it on their own, without the US being involved at all. How about that?

And meanwhile, there are several ME nations fighting ISIS. The US is helping, but not fighting their war for them.

I wonder what we can conclude from that?

We can conclude that some countries can gain control over their own internal affairs if they have the political wil to do so and ignore those who charge 'racism' whenever the laws are carried out.

If your conclusion is that the Middle East countries can defend themselves against ISIS I would say that is overly optimistic and not a chance worth taking.

No doubt. But what do you foresee?

What the police are saying is still inconsistent, as far as I can tell. I really do not know yet.

Which is why we're helping.

It's still their fight, not ours.

It's an international problem and therefore an international fight. The democracies have to hang together on this or, as BF said, we shall all hang separately. Or burn. Or have our heads chopped off.

Yes, and we have to include some nations that aren't exactly democracies as well. Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia are not exactly bastions of liberty, but they're fighting ISIS as well.
