Nothing sinister or unhealthy about subjecting your kids to today's indoctrinations at the old schoolhouse, I'm sure.

    Must be common core.

Some low life " Teacher " should be losing their job immediately.

I worried about two things in school. My car and my chick. Yes, in that order.

Maybe that teacher was doing exactly what he/she was told to do. Would you fire someone for that?

Yes, she should be held responsible for her actions.

Ignoring for a moment one quiz in one teacher's class would never be an overall reflection of the school as a whole...is that not what Republicans are constantly saying? Oh sure, they don't use such plain terms, but are they not the ones who keep saying the government shouldn't support the poor, they need to get out and get a job and support themselves? Aren't they the ones saying the government shouldn't help the poor, it should be left up to charities?

I guess I don't understand the furor here when it's basically what Republicans have been saying for years.

Perhaps the furor is missing questions.

For example, where are the questions about Liberal/Progressives pandering to minorities so they can get support in the short term, and then can abandon them later when another group needs manipulating? That's what they do today, as well as in the past, so I'm wondering where those questions are.

Perhaps you can help. Do you know where they are?

    Slyfox.

    1. The test's text makes it clear in other instances the difference between "government run" things and generalized notions, so simply stating that Republicans think "we should not help the poor" is not accurate. Your own post refelcts that, pointing out that even those who seemingly say the government shouldn't help in any fashion typically still support the notion of charities or others to assist the poor. Suggesting that the government shouldn't utilize tax payer funds to specifically just help "the poor" is a decidingly different comment than not wanting to help the poor in a broad general sense.

    2. What you're describing is actually not the seemingly standard view of the majority of Republicans or the Republican Party. Perhaps you can point me to something I've missed, but I rarely see conservatives/republicans suggesting we should cease any and all aid provided by the government to people or that all social safety nets must be completely and utterly removed. Indeed, some go to that strong extreme, but to suggest it's the standard view of the party is a bit ridiculous.

Now to this issue in general...

The general balance of the questions, not to mention the gross over simplification of many things, does no student an honest service in terms of learning or understanding politicla ideologies and what their general view points are in an accurate and fairly presented fashion. However, it's hard to levy some kind of wide ranging condemnation over something based on what seems a very limited amount of information to go off of.
