I say good. Guess ISIS just pushed it's luck a bit too far with the wrong nation.

Dear Mr. President. Please take some notes on what real leadership looks like.

Quite a switch from he previous position (wide down, withdraw and abandon). I guess he 'evolved' somehow.

I think I read an article about a Pew study that basically did demonstrate that the majority of Muslims were in favor of the Sharia law that ISIS was pushing. More troubling, they wanted to see any nation that had any Muslims adopt Sharia law, if I recall.

Thats the kind of commitment we need right about now. If only our POTUS was as strong. But we know he's not.

Jordan and Syria haven't exactly been the best of friends.

What he said makes perfect sense to anyone who isn't looking to get pissy over a completely accurate comment.
Bujt he did not say that.

He did not say "we must remember not all are evil...." He reminded Americans in the midst of a war he is losing that THEY are bad people; his examples are the "Christian crusades" and "American slavery".

As most Americans identify as Christian he aimed a subtle attack on them...and all Americans once again that, yes, they had slavery ended before even the grandfathers of blacks were born. He did not single out communist atrocities, NAZI's or anyone else.

Now Obama is a failure, an incompetent, liar and cheat, but he is likely the greatest orator the US has seen since Lincoln. IF he only wanted to convey the message not to blame all Muslims, he would have made that very plain...he always has.

But he didn't, in a droning, holier than thou tone singled out the crusades and slavery...neither of which relate to national security or "Obama's war". coupled with the "You cannot make fun of the prophet Mohamed" scolding about the stupid Benghazi tape, I see a very died in the wool Muslim sympathizer and wonder if he really wants to be fighting a war of freedom for America at all?

FDR didn't mention the very healthy Eugenics program in the US when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.....I wonder why?

He didn't attack Christians. He pointed out that you can't judge them all based on the worst actions of some. Saying anything more than that is partisan whining.

If it's the same one, here's the study. And yes, the majority of Muslims are in favor of Sharia Law and most of them think it is not only their duty but their right to force Sharia on everyone.
There is nothing demonstrably true that religion can provide the world that cannot be achieved more rationally through entirely secular means.

If Obama spent as much time fighting the war on terror as he does defending Islam, we wouldn't be in this mess. It begs the question who's side is he on.
At least the Jordanians get it.

And sizable portions also support violence in the name of islam.
