Jordan pilot hostage Moaz al-Kasasbeh 'burned alive'

There were lots of Allied fighters that were captured by the Germans who killed many Germans before they were executed, too.

Your point here seems to be that we should understand why ISIS feels justified in doing what they did to this guy. I think the point that many here are trying to express in response is that we really don't give a **** how ISIS feels. We just want them dead.

Right. I know what you want.

Lol, NO, my point is that you and others are wringing your hands because ISIS is fighting back.

Anyone can make a video like that showing an actual (or faked) burning, and there's no way to know if it was made by "ISIS" or some other group/person.

The objective is to determine who is behind these real or faked videos and/or who is funding them.

The storyline reported in the mainstream media--that there's just a group out there in the ME called ISIS that kills people solely because they're not submitting to their religion has zero credibility, because those acts would have no chance of contributing to such a goal.

:doh

......never mind.

Paybacks a bitch!!!!

That's interesting. I shall recall your laughing dismissal of the concepts behind the Geneva Conventions the next time you begin to complain about civilian casualties.

Burning someone alive isn't really fighting back. It's symbolism.

It isnt even symbolism.

It`s just outright psychotic! The mad actions of a bunch of savages and psychopaths!

This is important, because for Muslims, being burned to death, or even being burned after death is the worst possibility imaginable. They believe they can't get into heaven, if their body is burned.

These claims get more and more ridiculous;

Say: Shall I seek another than Allah for Lord, when He is Lord of all things? Each soul earneth only on its own account, nor doth any laden bear another's load. Then unto your Lord is your return and He will tell you that wherein ye differed.

Verse (6:164)

Or:

"Nay, and by the moon, And by the night when it withdraws, And by the dawn when it brightens, Verily, it is but one of the greatest calamities. A warning to mankind, To any of you that chooses to go forward (by doing righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by committing sins), Every person is beheld (accountable) on his own deeds."

It does not matter what you do to a Muslim, alive or dead, according to Islam there is no heritable sins and no one will be held accountable for something they didn't do.

We haven't been burning them out of their homes. As a matter of fact we haven't even been burning them. If we were using Napalm.....then their whole mindset on death would actually get to be played with.

Currently.....they still pray and look to Allah. Taking away their ability to even know their God. Will get their attention.

Still the King of Jordan didn't hesitate and even cut his meeting Short with BO peep to handle the matter. While BO plays with excuses.

You missed the point....burn not burn doesn't ****ing matter

You have been conducting a war involving several nations on three fronts.....and losing.

The war is not working,,,it has frightened no one, in fact when it began there was one issues, Afghanistan.

Now there are seven, eight?

So boil some people alive in pig oil and see if that works...

hell its only been 15 years, there's another 20 at least before they overrun the planet

I hope nobodies laughing, there's nothing funny about the deaths by the US or ISIS, and the Jordanian isn't a civilian. Disproportionate killing of civilians is a violation of the GC, and for every one alleged (key word there) enemy combatant that we kill with a PD there are ten civilians killed. Your dismissal of that has been noted as well.

No no - little eichman only got what he had coming to him, amiright?

Sure. But setting captives on fire isn't "fighting back". Actually engaging in combat operations is "fighting".

And they're doing that as well. Dead is dead dude, and more than a century of US involvement, interference, exploitation and nation building has a price.

Evil only continues to grow and create more chaos, (which this one brings the ghastly death).....only when good men do nothing!

Evil triumphs when good men do nothing....and when they do the wrong thing.

Had Anthony Eden not been around, 6,000,000 people might not have been turned into soap.

Funny! I'm sure some of the America-hating commies among us think just like Ward "Sitting Bull" Churchill. America was to blame for 9/11, just as America and its allies are to blame for what jihadists are doing now.

The tragedy of the death of this Jordanian pilot is no greater nor any less then that of the several Americans that have been beheaded or the scores of civilians killed at weddings and funerals by US PD's.

Perhaps. However if the death is seen as a flashpoint by Jordan which accelerates their people to enter the fight with ISIS, it will be greater, since the beheadings of other countries citizens did not motivate Jordan. Apparently, this Jordanian pilots death has done just that.

Well like I said in the other thread.....this evil is everybody's problem. For them.....there is NO wrong thing. Which includes the Good using the Bad, or the Ugly!

Especially all those innocent, harmless, all-male weddings that feature, for some reason, large numbers of arms cache's....

Indeed. The more brutal and sadistic ISIS gets in it's actions, the faster and more resolute will it's opposition raise form the ranks of their Muslim brethren.

At this point, and at this stage of the situation, I'm having less and less compunction about carpet bombing (or dropping) and covering all ISIS held territory with anti-personel bomblets. Say 1 every 10 inches or so. Then just leave it all alone for 6 months to a year.

The World can't afford to allow the cancer that is ISIS to spread any further.
