Jordan pilot hostage Moaz al-Kasasbeh 'burned alive'

Just saw where Jordan has executed two prisoners in response to the Jordanian pilot's murder.

Let me go a step further and really piss people off.
I'm tired of the political arguing over GITMO--but more the waste of money there.

Time to execute those that are left at GITMO and knock off the political bull****.
My NeoCon feelings rarely come out like this--blame that on me being an Air Force brat my first 13 years of life .

I honestly don't believe that ISIS give a **** if these guys are executed. In fact, I suspect that they HOPE they are executed because you are right in that it is a language they understand. They understand that their brothers in arms will die as martyrs and get 72 virgins.

I don't know what the answer is. I just know that we are dealing with an enemy who does not value human life.

Saw the link here that they executed the female prisoner mentioned in an attempted swap for the pilot.

AMMAN, Jordan — A Jordanian government spokesman says Jordan has executed two prisoners, including a would-be female suicide bomber from al-Qaida.
The executions at dawn Wednesday came just hours after Islamic State militants released a video that purportedly showed a captured Jordanian fighter pilot being burned alive in a cage.
Jordan vowed a swift and lethal response.
Government spokesman Mohammed al-Momani said that two prisoners, Sajida al-Rishawi and Ziad al-Karbouli, were executed early Wednesday.

Often Arabic leaders speak in blown up rhetoric but this time Jordan is doing more than just talking. A Jordan military leader said there would be a "earth shaking" response. As I said before the burning of the pilot may just be that tipping point.

I'm not sure what message it sends when you're just executing prisoners who have been on death row for years anyway. Sounds to me like they just realized the prisoners wouldn't be useful as bargaining chips so there was no reason to delay execution any longer.

A Jordan military leader said there would be a "earth shaking" response.

We'll see how much of the rhetoric translates into action in the coming days.

Pretty hard for Jordan to swap prisoners for a pilot already dead.
Jordan's 'don't trust and verify life' bargaining should now be the only rule.

ISIL is now clearly desperate.
The time is NOW for the two opposing political parties in the USA to bury the hatchet and execute all of these ****ing murdering terrorists.

(Lawrence O'Donnell is still live with correspondents from Amman) .

Heya M.A :2wave: Yeah I had seen it also. They were put to death by Hanging about half hour ago. I don't think killing them this way got any point across to ISIS.

I don't think for a second that ISIS would care about the execution of terrorists held by Jordan. In fact they will celebrate those executed as martyrs to jihad and favored of Allah,....and use it for more recruiting.

Well I disagree.....as it depends on how they are executed.

Since the Jordanians went with Hanging. You're Right.....now ISIS dont care.

Once again we are equating madness with rational thinking....

I doubt since bombing them and burning them out of their homes with drones hasn't deterred them, I doubt public executions would.

And I doubt you will win any converts, it is hard to argue 'democracy' and 'freedom' are better for anyone when you are hanging and boiling people alive in pig oil.

I'm having a hard time myself after that one to be frank.

But it did reunite the Jordanian people.
And it showed the rest of the Middle Easterners how to step up and deal with these murdering terrorists.

Please stay with me tonight bro and don't go BO peeping on me.
I'm way to the right of you on this matter as my inner NeoCon has reemerged thinking of my dearly departed Dad .

Of course the terrorists care--this sort of thing catches on quick.
The Jordanians didn't make a spectacle of the hangings so World and Muslim opinion will be with them.

Not accusing you--but how hypocritical of those on the right who are so quick to trash Obama on this matter already.
They're either whining the hangings shouldn't have happened or playing politics with trashing Obama for not doing this .

I skimmed through the ISIS video and it was mostly propaganda until towards the end it showed the pilots confession behind a montage of wounded, dead and burnt bodies from the bombs he was alledged to have dropped on their guys. Then they trotted him out and burned him alive in retaliation and to scare Jordanians away.

I think the ISIS video shows that aerial bombing is having an effect and should be increased.

There are elements in Jordan - rural tribes and many Palestinians - that do not support the Hashemite monarchy and accuse King Abdullah II of being a lackey of the West. The tribe of the slain Jordanian pilot is very large, mostly urban, supports the monarchy, and is demanding that Jordan become more involved in confronting ISIS. It will be interesting how this plays out internally.

We haven't been burning them out of their homes. As a matter of fact we haven't even been burning them. If we were using Napalm.....then their whole mindset on death would actually get to be played with.

Currently.....they still pray and look to Allah. Taking away their ability to even know their God. Will get their attention.

Still the King of Jordan didn't hesitate and even cut his meeting Short with BO peep to handle the matter. While BO plays with excuses.

Well you are Right there Nimby.....with the way they pulled this stunt. It has pulled the Jordanian people together. Especially now that they know they killed him back on Jan 3rd. They even want to kill the rest of the ISIS prisoners they have. I am with them on that part. But truly....they do need to do it in a way that ISIS cannot mistake whats waiting for them.

Maybe the King of Jordan.....can insist that the King of the Saud. Get off his lazy ass and start taking it to ISIS. Rather than crying about how the US should remove Assad.

Those feelings aren't NeoCon, they're human. Evil is evil no matter which side of the aisle you're standing on.

But boiling people alive in pig oil as proposed by this patriot is OK with you......

Middle ages here we come. Why not bring back the crucifix, that strike fear into them

Pig Oil? You mean deep fry them in lard? That would be a waste of good lard right there.

That you consider them twisted bastards is more or less what they want. They want to be feared.

These "Bastards" do not cause one to fear them, but more to hate them for crimes against humanity.

This is true D :2wave: .....how can they cause fear in those who have no fear, and especially not of any of them.

your previously stated strategy is to kill them all
i want to know how you would accomplish that objective
share with us your tactics and techniques to identify ISIS members from the balance of those who populate the middle east ... or is your plan to slaughter the innocent with the guilty
so, you probably now better understand why i am seeking to learn of your proposed tactics because just saying "kill them all" is too easy to say while being difficult/impossible to accomplish

You continue to confuse strategy with tactics.

If you think killing them all is too hard then let's just kill as many as we can. Do you routinely shy away from difficult tasks?

The video has been on constantly here in Turkey and is provokign some interesting reactions. I have to say I have seen these kind of videos before but this one is one of the worst, awful way to go.

Mornin Higgins. :2wave: It would be nice if the Turks shut down that Snugglers Route. Be even better if the Smugglers and Organized crime members took it upon themselves, To just gangster anything ISIS has and kill them on the spot.

There is a debate going on in another thread about why Christianity spread. Philosophical section. The reason? Martyrdom. Are you willing to die for something bigger? Because they are. That concept is ingrained in humanity. You see the idea from Japan to the native Americans to Europeans and the Arabs. It isn't unique. Why? What more can you give than your life?

So let me ask you. If you are being told you will get 72 pristine and beautiful virgins, and enteral glory, salvation, redemption, and your friends and family were "murdered" by this great foreign enemy...doesn't sound so bad to start killing them does it? The more innocents we catch in the crossfire, which is what direct action will do, the more people will hate US and not THEM.

My idea is to take those who are not players in the game, or may who might chose the wrong team, and give them a little push. Why? That helps us. Not them. We saw Iraq and Afghanistan. Direct action isn't that effective. Isis came right after al Qaeda. Who comes after Isis? This concept that you are promoting is just eternal war. You want to "beat Islam?" You have to change it.

Right. You fail to understand how Christianity reached the tipping point.

Why do you feel the need to redefine the destruction of ISIS with beating Islam? And why did you use quote marks as if you were quoting me? What is the rest of the context, assuming you actually believe you are quoting me?

Why do you prefer defeat to victory? Direct action is wonderfully effective every time it is tried. Of course if The Effeminate One on the golf course prefers to throw away a victory a new enemy may fill the void.

Hate=fear

Well in true Turkish fashion you have 50% of the pupulation condeming ISIS and 50% blaming the US for dragging the Arab nations into a war on Islam.
