Why would you ask? Because we simply do not know how vaccines, and or diseases themselves alter our bodies at the molecular level. Show me proof that disease and vaccines have no bearing on cell health, or long-term evolutionary-scale human health, and that would be something worth reading. Could be that vaccines are completely benign to our overall health as a species, but to date, none of the studies I've read have even attempted to measure that paradigm.

So to summarize what it is I'm getting at. It is a fact that vaccines work to prevent disease! It is a fact that, with our current knowledge and understanding, it is by far better to get vaccinated than to not. It is a fact that we do not yet fully understand how vaccines, and disease alter our bodies at the molecular level, which leads to a more unclear understanding of how all this will affect us as a species. Given the latter, and in-spite of our understanding, vaccination seems perfectly safe and harmless, and the right thing to do.

Surprising about Rand Paul since he was so level-headed and sound of mind after the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson.
