I've posted plenty of other stuff too that supports my position that has nothing to do with mass shooting. And I've certainly included the 'big picture' in my deliberations
Then it should be easy for you to produce some data that proves that more guns equals more violence. Forgetting of course that America has an increase in guns, relaxation of carrying in public laws, and a decrease in murders.

ACTUALLY. I would argue that Social Media has been a bigger cause of mass shootings and suicides than "assault weapons." But hey, nevermind the greater presence and increased use plus bullying there.

I support the 2nd amendment regardless.

I wasn't talking about JUST mass shootings. You weren't either. Trying to change the goalposts here? Why don't you try again?

I love the use of a Blog though lol. Especially since the blogger can give the inaccurate representation of what the FBI study would show lol.
According to your own FBI just under 1% of all firearm fatalities are civilian defensive shootings. The other 99% pay a very high price indeed for such 'security'

What you mean repost everything I've already posted because you cannot be bothered reading through the thread ! Not a chance

Probably a factor but then again just like the point I made with mental illness its the easy access to firearms that can then make this into a lethal problem.

The problem is population density, low income and the 50% divorce rate. Gun control can't fix those, and so gun control is not a viable solution to anything.

2 is hardly a "plethora" and they were shot down anyway, unlike all of my links. You're arguing with Harvard now, good luck with that.

You're quoting an opinion piece from a trash mag, and you honestly expect to get anywhere in this discussion?

Here in America we don't have guilt by association laws.

I'm in the National Guard and due to budget cuts am not afforded proper time to train with my issued weapon. I am willing to put my own time and money into my training to keep my shooting skills for the military sharp. Also, I would like to compete in the Governor's 20 competition where victory means Promotion Points, a tab and a step closer to the Distinguished Rifleman award, which in turn is more Promotion Points to further my military career. I need the AR in order to do this as the AR is the closest rifle to my issued weapon as I can personally buy.

And until such time that Bambi starts to organize combat assault teams, there is no use for automatic weapons for hunting either.
Automatic weapons are not for hunting.

If that were true then America would be a British colony today.

Apparently history holds a different view on private gun ownership than you do.
