Well, that does it. Since there are two stupid parents, we must go ahead and disarm everyone else. It's the only logical thing to do.

I read about this earlier. The mom is pregnant, and they are living in a hotel. The kids are in custody of children services right now, and she's in the hospital. I am wondering why the woman is bringing another child into the world. The couple is practically homeless, and her kid shot her with her own gun.
When my first son was born I went around the house and put these little plug things in all the electrical outlets and I installed trick latches on the inside of all the low level cabinets. I did all this to keep my child safe. Things worked out pretty well because the kid didn't fry himself or get into the cleaning products under the sink. I don't know if those parents took the steps I did, but it's obvious they didn't think of safeguarding their child from their weapon.
But I have to wonder...if I hadn't taken the steps I did...if my son had hurt himself or others...would people be clamoring to ban electricity or household cleaning products?

There is no category of persons that can be devised, which numbers in the millions, that does not include a few idiots, and an occasional brain-fart. This does not change the fact that tens of millions of gun owners had zero incidents this year, most of whom had zero incidents EVER.
