Interesting... ISIS is getting desperate. They have suffered heavy losses all around and lost considerable amount of land as well, so this is a desperate attempt to force their enemies to take off a bit of the pressure... it will fail I suspect, since ISIS will have to worry about their own back yard in Syria with their heavy defeat in Kobani and the push on from there.
We shall see.
Oh and dont worry about airstrikes.. bet they are going to happen if not already happening. Kirkuk will be defended. Hell it is so important it might actually force Western troops into action.. which might be part of the ISIS strategy.
They're getting desperate? They lost a lot of land? Are you confused Pete? Have you been following BO peeps mantra and the MS Media who is avoiding reporting their gains or at the least keeping it down to very minimal content?
I dont listen to BO peeps (who ever that is) or American MS media.
Kobani is basically liberated meaning a massive defeat for ISIS and opening up of the northern front.. heading straight to Raqqa.. you know what that is right?
The Kurds are nearing Mosul and have secured the Mosul dam. The Kurds have liberated the Sinjan mountain and are in the process of taking Sinjan city/town along with Syrian PKK fighters. Isis is also under pressure in Ramadi and the whole province and according to the Iraqi government there will "soon" be a massive counter attack north from Baghdad.
So yes ISIS is under pressure and the air attacks have killed many and their manpower is limited.
