It's no longer either ISIL or ISIS, it's just the Islamic State. However, most people understand what ISIL and ISIS mean, therefore those are common terms.

Oh, I think you're being far too harsh--Islamophobic, even. You're leaving out that under shari'ah, there is a third alternative. (Of course this assumes the local jihadist sons of whores haven't decided shari'ah is too lenient for their tastes, and gouged out your eyes, cut off your genitals, made a day-long video of your eventual death by evisceration, with your family forced to watch, sawed off your head, shot your son for watching a soccer match on TV, raped your wife and made her a slave, crucified you--or done some combination of these things--just for the fun of it.)

I remember when I was a young boy there was a neighborhood grocery store run by some Italians. A bunch of guys would stand in front of the store all day and talk crap. I remember this one guy saying he would cut someone else's head off and throw it in the hog slop! Kind of reminds me of that.

It's called desperation. Obama is bombing the **** out of them and they are retreating on their gains. And they are JV as they hit soft targets. When they go up agsinst triained soldiers they crumble.

They are growing, last I heard at over 1500 a week, even though between Pesh/Iraqi/US actions about 1000/week are being killed. The airstrikes are token, the real gains have been by the Iraqi's and Pesh-who have obtained some extensive anti-armor missiles lately. The video's just put up back this up.
