As for the part about him wanting Iran to exterminate the Jews, that's just ridiculous. Who made such a claim anyway?

Now that I have addressed your questions, and done so in a respectful and civil manner, do you think you could tell me what the Palestinians did immediately after Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005?
Go back to the first few pagers of the Thread my friend and, sad to say it is there.

Sometimes Iran uses legitimate enterprises to acquire key technology. The report, which includes detailed annexes, cited an example of how Iran used its petrochemical industry as a facade to procure crucial items for its heavy-water nuclear reactor at Arak, a plant that has proven to be a big sticking point in Tehran's nuclear negotiations with the powers.

If it goes online in its current form, the Arak reactor will yield significant amounts of weapons-grade plutonium. The United States and its European allies want Iran to either scrap the project or convert it to an unthreatening light-water reactor. Tehran has hinted that it would not oppose modifying the plant.

Its not just Arak, its also Parchin and their ballistic missiles program.

The same week Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan said that Iran will not give IAEA inspectors access to Parchin military base. Yukiya Amano has noted previously that access to the Parchin base was essential for the Agency to be in position to certify Iran's nuclear programme as peaceful.[135] Tehran was supposed to provide the IAEA with information related to the initiation of high explosives and to neutron transport calculations until August 25, but it failed to address these issues.[136] The two issues are associated with compressed materials that are required to produce a warhead small enough to fit on top of a missile.[137] During its October 7–8 meetings with IAEA in Tehran, Iran failed to propose any new practical measures to resolve the disputable issues.....snip~

There are many steps toward nuclear weapons.[139] However, an effective nuclear weapons capability has only three major elements:[140]
Fissile or nuclear material in sufficient quantity and quality
Effective means for delivery, such as a ballistic missile
Design, weaponization, miniaturization, and survivability of the warhead

Evidence presented by the IAEA has shown that Iran has pursued all three of these elements: it has been enriching uranium for more than ten years and is constructing a heavy water reactor to produce plutonium, it has a well-developed ballistic missile program, and it has tested high explosives and compressed materials that can be used for nuclear warheads.[141] Some analysts believe that Iran's nuclear program should be negotiated in its entirety — it must include not only fissile material discussions but also ballistic missile development and weaponization issues.[142][143]....snip~

    I am aware of those.
Reason we have to at least negotiate.
Other than that the other end is extended sanction, which I agree with or bombing Iran.
And that would only slow things down.

Truthfully we have negotiated....Iran needs to agree to all conditions come March. Any continuance.....then sanctions need to go back into full effect. Until they comply.

Iran's ballistic missiles have been tied to its nuclear-weapons program. Security Council Resolution 1929 "decides that Iran shall not undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons."[147] In May–June 2014 a U.N. Panel of Experts submitted a report pointing to Iran's engagement in ballistic missile activities. The Panel reported that over the last year Iran has conducted a number of ballistic missile test launches, which were a violation of paragraph 9 of the resolution.....snip~

Now to ask us to believe that Netanyahu spat in Obama's, or anyone else's face, while being a guest in this country is just not believable, ! What could have happened, if anything really did, is that he sneezed unexpectedly and didn't get his handkerchief over his mouth in time. The unexpected happens, even to Presidents and Prime Ministers of countries.. Netanyahu is not a common street thug, and to attempt to paint him as one is disgusting and a disgrace to this country! I might expect that behavior from a terrorist, and it wouldn't surprise me, but from Netanyahu? NO! Let's not forget that it was Netanyahu who was forced to use the servant's door that opened to an alley to depart the WH on an earlier visit. If anyone has a reason to feel insulted by that rude behavior, it could be him, but he didn't complain - our own media ran the story in outrage- he didn't have to say a word!
hi Pol...I'm pretty sure that no one actually expelled spittle at anyone else..heh, heh....However, the childish, arrogant, and uncouth comment put forward by staffers in this administration shows how vitriolically they feel about Netanyahu, and this type of characterization of a close ally should be frowned upon by people of both political parties and everyone in between that has a functioning brain, and rational thought processes. Sadly though, too many at least in here not only agree with the comment, but seems like they would love to go further...I find it disheartening.

No issue with increased sanctions. Just guessing but they would pass quickly.

Cameron joins Obama in trying to head off new Iran sanctions | AustraliaNews.com.au
The Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs has scheduled a hearing on the “strategic necessity of Iran sanctions” for Jan. 20.

Cameron said he called several U.S. lawmakers Friday morning and planned to contact more. U.K. officials said he planned to talk with three Republican senators, Senate Armed Services Chairman John McCain, Foreign Relations Chairman Bob Corker, and Kirk, who said in November it was “critical” for Congress to enact tougher sanctions on Iran.
I think you are reading more into Netanyahu's intentions by accepting the invitation from Congress. He did not ask, he was asked by the majority leadership in Congress.
Second. Netanyahu has already the overwhelming support of the people of Israel in the upcoming election. He doesn't need to visit the U.S. Congress to garner such a thing as if this would give him the political edge. He doesn't need to do such a thing.
Third. What Netanyahu is seeking is for Congress to be successful in thwarting Obama's continued "negotiations with Iran" solely for the purpose of protection for his country.
